  1. Somebody higher up must be reading these forums. They changed the website offering. They took off the part that said a/z return lessees. If someone higher up is reading...email me I'd love to still get the original deal!
  2. The actual advertisement on the webpage says "A/Z return lessees". Nothing about Ford only (not Lincoln) A/Z returning lessees until you see the fine print. It's just a bummer it worked out like this. I still have over a week to decide on manufacturers. We've Only had Ford and Lincolns our whole lives (except for once). A total of 8 or so new vehicles. Frustrating anyways to say the least. They didn't refuse the deal they said I didn't qualify for the deal. I brought the issue to this section hoping to hear from from an executive as to why it was advertised on the website as deals for all A/Z members but then it really wasn't. I was also hoping to get some insight as to not qualifying even though I was coming out of a red carpet lease from Ford. It sounds like they have Lincoln rebates that you can qualify for if your coming out of a Ford RCL, just not the other way around. Again, it's their right to do whatever they want, I just want them to know how displeasing it is to spend hours in a dealership only to be told you don't qualify.
  3. To be clear, I did check up front. I did mention the day before (I called the dealership to setup an appt to come out) that I was coming out of a Lincoln lease. She checked with a manager and they stated there should be no issue with it being a Lincoln rcl. It was only after being there for some time the issue was realized.

  5. I went out on Saturday fully intending to drive away in an f150 super crew 4 wheel drive. When I got there I was shocked to learn I did not qualify but for about $100 dollars more a month I could get that same vehicle. On the front webpage of Ford.com there is a link that says "build for the Holidays" with a link that says view all offers. When you click on that there is a specific section for A/Z plan members to click on for their special discounts. The offer was for an F150 XLT super crew 4 wheel drive (302a) for $139 with $2259 cash due at signing. The fine print however says you have to be coming out of a ford RCL to qualify. Is it really special pricing for all Ford A/Z plan members when you actually eliminate 80% of A/Z members by saying you have to be coming out of a Ford lease to qualify for the great saving? But wait, there's more! I am coming out of a RCL Lease. It is for a Lincoln though. I always thought a RCL thru Ford was a "FORD RCL". Since it's a RCL on a Lincoln (OWNED BY FORD) once again I do not qualify for the special offers. It's frustrating enough just spending hours in a dealership to purchase a vehicle. It's even more frustrating when you have to walk away.
  6. The 2018 Fusion hybrid and energi had the platinum trim level. They took away that trim level in 2019 and at the same time took away the park assist and front sensing system. I took a long test drive in a 2019 titanium fusion energi (my father just purchased one) and also searched online. Unless I'm completely blind, it's not an option. The only version that has it (as far as I can tell in the 2019 fusion) is the V6 sport fusion.
  7. I'm just curious as to why you would take away the front sensors and park assist feature in the 2019 fusion energi and fusion hybrid models? You should have at least made it an option to purchase!
  8. My mkc came with sync 3 and I was wondering of you go guys had any update on when sync 3 will be updated to work with android auto? I'd be willing to be a beta tester if needed! ;-)
  9. I've had both the 18" and 19" tires on different MKZs (2013 models). IMO it is a more bumpier and more noisy ride driving on the 19" tires. I noticed this immediately after switching although now that it's been a while, I don't notice it. Unless you need the quietest and smoothest ride, you'll probably not be bothered by the difference. You should probably take the one with 18s on a 20 minute drive then hop in the one with 19s and drive it down the same roads. Although boring, you would probably want to turn the radio down for part of the drive. I know these (Fusion verses MKZ) are very different although similar vehicles. I think the Lincoln has some type of noise cancelling built into it. I don't know if the Fusion does.
  10. I'm pretty sure there is a TSB for the auto up feature. Our first MKZ had the front driver side and back windows not working properly (auto up feature). Sometimes it's just a reprogram and if it happens on the rear doors they might have to replace something in each door. A lot depends on the date of build also (I think). I also thought I heard about the ambient lighting thing. I can't remember if it was just a reprogram issue or if it was one they have "under investigaton" . Your best bet is to take it into the shop and have them research it.
  11. In the end, Lincoln was forced to buy back the MKZ and give us our money back. I could write another page on just what happened after I last posted.
  12. One of the issues with our original MKZ (built in April) was a water gurgling sound coming from under the dash. After reading this. I think it might have been an issue with the ac. You would pull up to a drive thru or at a stop light and it sounded like water draining out of a bathtub. It also kinda sounded like water hitting a fan (kinda). Have any of you guys noticed that type of a sound when your ac is on but your fan and music is turned down low? I would think a easy fix would be to add a small drain underneath where ever the moisture is accumulating. I like the idea of having the fan run for a few minutes after shut off to prevent moisture from sitting!
  13. I only saw 2 DSP choices...surround and stereo. I will have to check out another one on the lot. Both radio and USB are the sources. I had a reg stereo mkz for 6 months. I reconized the difference as soon as I listened to the thx system. Just listened to a reg Mkx stereo again.
