What are dealers saying about Energi Incentives for April 2013. The website seems to indicate $1500 for Program 12316 but there is always the mysterious disclaimer regarding not all Energi models apply. I pulled up my specific car from the dealer inventory site (since I am buying one of the dealer ordered cars) and it had the $1500 incentive on it. My salesman initially claimed to me that there were no incentives on the Energi!? I need to sort this out pretty fast.

Thanks. I actually was originally confused because cyberman's instructions had a hyperlink associated with the words "this site" when I first looked at his post 2 weeks ago. My virus checker warned me the link was suspicious. I figured out today that it meant this blue oval site.

I guess you can call me an early adopter. I have sold my 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid for a Fusion Energi. None of the dealers would touch the Civic with its original IMA battery. There was always Craigslist but I found an interesting company in Minneapolis called Original Owner Autos. Two brothers who serve as brokers for buyers looking for good used cars with original owners and documented maintenance records. They even have me a down payment and are waiting till my energi comes in

I am confused about Ford Incentives for the Energi. First it makes sense that as a new car release it shouldn't have any. But I have seen anywhere from $750 to the online pricing tool of up to $2500? Has anyone else figured this out?

I am in Minneapolis and have had my eye on the Fusion energi for quite awhile. We have alot of Ford dealers in the area and figured that since I had to order the car that the price was going to be the same pretty much anywhere that I went. But I sooned discovered that not all dealers/salesstaff are the same. The first dealer I visited was an electric certified, but told me that incentives on the car amounted to $10K if I ordered before April 15th (tax day). I asked him to substantiate that information because it was the best kept secret from Google if that was the case. Needless to say, I walked from that dealership. Next up was a non electric dealer salesman that told me his sales manager said the car was not available yet. Third was a dealer that wouldn't even talk to me about a trade in on my Honda. Finally, I found a salesman who didn't lie, told me if he didn't have an answer but promised to check and get back to me and actually helped me complete the purchase. Even though they are not the closest dealer, they will also get all of my service work.

I though that it might be helpful to know the results of my research with my condo association. I am having an electrical circuit installed from the main electrical supply in the building to my parking stall. They are installing a separate meter to measure the electricity and are able to give me both a 208V service and 110V at the same price. The way that the meter works is that it will measure the KWH draw regardless of which one I use. Once a month or quarter the association will read the meter and charge my account for the usage.

This is great information. But I can't figure out how to post to the Ford vehicle tracking section on this site. I am hoping to get my rail car designation. The dealer can't seem to give it to me. Does the 10 post rule apply to posting anywhere on this blue forum site?

From reading the Fusion Energi posts I am considering myself fortunate to have walked into a dealer and found a very helpful salesman who was actually willing to change the color on a dealer ordered car to my choice. The order closed within 2 days of them locking that in and I hope to have the car in mid April!
