  1. Thanks to your helpful post cyberdman, I was able to get to my dealer today and check out my new ride fresh off the delivery truck. I take possession on Wednesday, I'll post some better photos then after she is cleaned up and the weather gets nice. Hope you had a great weekend.
  2. Hi there, I am hoping to get an update on this vehicle. Vin 2FMDK4KCXDBC08168 It was scheduled for a build date of March 8th, I'm hoping to try and get a date to expect it on my dealers lot. We are only 30 miles from the Oakville assembly plant. Thanks for your awesome help in this forum. John.
  3. As nice as a fully loaded Fusion is, there is a greater sense of quality IMO when you are in the Lincoln. At least that was my impression when going from one car to the other at the dealership. Having said that, for me personally the Fusion would probably be my choice.
  4. Thanks for posting the order sheets. I know someone looking for a new Escape this year, so I will show him the changes coming so he can decide what year options will suit him best.
  5. I like the exterior, a big improvement from the last efforts. The interior ruins it for me however.
  6. I know two people with Rangers that they need to replace. Both of them want another Ranger but are forced to look elsewhere. The size is perfect for city use to deliver parts. I hope Ford finds a way to get something to market.
  7. We considered the Enclave during our recent search for a new car. It is an impressive car for sure, but I felt it wasn't worth the extra expense over the Edge Limited AWD we ended up ordering.
  8. I think there should be a website for tracking as others have stated. For a large purchase like this, customer service from Ford should start as soon as you sign on the line. I'm sure it wouldn't cost too much to create and maintain, and it would create a service that no other maker has.
  9. Awesome thread, really explains a lot. I should have the VIN for my new Edge soon. Thanks.
  10. As somone posted earlier, the front does kinda look like the new Sant Fe. It looks nice, but I like the current Edge better because it stands out from others on the road.
  11. My wife and I were shopping for a new SUV to replace our Expedition. We had pretty much made up our minds to get an Escape as we wanted a smaller vehicle. We went to the auto show to check out our choices. After seeing the Escape in person, I liked it less. It didn't help it was right next to a Edge. We ended up ordering a Edge instead. We just like the looks better on the Edge and the larger interior was enough to convince us.
  12. I owned a 94 SC with a 5 speed for 10 years, loved every minute of it. I wish I never sold it, but I didn't have the room for it. My car was very reliable and was fairly cheap to repair. Be aware that some parts are impossible to get now. Try posting in the www.sccoa.com forums for all the info you will ever need.
  13. Just joined during my search for info on the Ford edge. The wife and I ordered a Blue 2013 Edge Limited AWD last week. This will be my third Ford in a row, 94 Thunderbird SC 5 speed, 2000 Expedition Eddie Bauer. We were overdue for a new car and we can't wait for our new Edge to be built.
