  1. Cyberdman, I have read your rules, and was in a hurry so I forgot I had to start a post. As for the telling you about the zero I was just trying to be helpful, I guess that doesn't count in the world anymore. I'm an old guy new to this forum stuff, and if I get berated like this for it I guess I will just quit forums especially this one. Oh, by the way thanks for the info. Ken
  2. Good morning cyberdman, I have ordered a fusion hybrid and finally got the VIN so would like to see its status The VIN is 3FA6P0LU4DR274169 the 0 in the vin is a zero Thanks, Ken
  3. Regional customer service rep called, and gave me a build date, but couldn't assure me that it would be here by the end of the month when my rebate runs out. My salesman is trying to talk "management" into some type of preinvoicing to keep my rebate. We will see.

Update, My salemsman is still in the dark. I called Ford Customer Service and talked to a representative who expedited my order (whatever that means), and had my regional customer service rep call me a couple days later. He did some checking and told me the build date will be the week of the 18th. That only leaves a week to get it here before the 8 weeks are up. My salesman is going to try and get "management" to predate or something my invoice or whatever to not lose my $750 rebate that expires on Apr. 1st. We'll see, at least we are making progress. I guess I shouldn't be too upset as there have been people waiting a lot longer than me. Instead of giving the ford big shot that umpteen million dollar bonus they should have spent the money hiring more people to build these cars and get them out there. The fusion hybrid sales are hitting records, but unfortunately deliver doesn't move that fast. Ken
  5. They made me sign my voc too, but if you look at it it says not an invoice. I think a lawyer would say if it is not an invoice then it is not a binding contract. I hope so I gave my dealer $1000 down. I'm sure he cashed the check, but if my car doesn't show up on time I am going to argue long and hard to get my $1000 back.
  6. My dealership brags on tv that they have over 500 pickups in stock. I can't get much help from them on my fusion hybrid order. It appears they are more interested in having trucks sit on the lot than help an actual paying customer.
  7. Thanks for the information, I have been waiting 6 weeks and just got my VIN 5 days ago. Will try your sources and see how it goes.
  8. I just called customer support and got a nice gal that escalated my order and gave me a case number and the region guys name, we'll see if he calls
  9. My dealer promised me my fusion hybrid in 6-8 weeks, he got $1000 from me as a deposit. If that vehicle doesn't show up when the 8 weeks are up I want my $1000 back and he can keep the car if it ever comes.
  10. The whole allocation system is bogus. If I have cash in hand and have a vehicle ordered the allocation should go out the window. Why should vehicles that just go sit on the lot have priority over sold vehicles.
  11. I just tried that and didn't get any $750 incentive, will try again later. I think they aren't giving many on hybrids.
  12. I agree with everyone here, it is like pulling teeth to get any info. Shamelessly trying to build up to ten to get Cyberdmans help.
