  1. Yes, mine went down to 36-38mpg according to fuelly but again I use the remote start up to warm the car since we have a new baby. So losing about 5mpg and don't forget the winter blend fuel.
  2. I don't remember correctly but I think it was around 2-3 inches. I'm sure some one could tell you a more definite answer.
  3. I can't help you there. I know the tint guys had a rough time but they did manage to do an excellent job. Took them two tries to align the tint correctly. There was another person with MKZ issue, they had to take it to the dealer to loosen the area around the glass so they can get underneath.
  4. Sorry to hear you're having issues getting DRL enabled . Some of us got ours done and for free .
  5. The FordFusionHybrid forum has a lot of info on the updates, mostly positive. Depends on how much you drive city vs highway. It benefits more city and highway driving will almost remain the same from what I've read.
  6. Well I went to the dealer to have the MLT updated since I was there for the PCM update. They got the PCM working but I noticed the MLT wasn't updated. I still have the old one back in February when the car was initially built. Also checked syncmyride and yup they've updated the same old one and not the new 3.6.2 Going to give them a call today and let them know. Anyways on the drive home on the freeway I did get better MPG so hopefully it will boost my overall MPG on fuelly.
  7. I totally agree. When we walked in, it felt really like a Ford dealership. The sales person was in jeans and a shirt and was busy juggling other customers.
  8. What Akirby said was correct, there is a huge demand for the MKZ/Fusion right now that's why they are increasing the MKZ hybrid to 40% I believe. Overall the MKZ was a success and have a low vehicle supply as oppose to other vehicles. It's going to take a while for them to get parts.
  9. Some of the Fusion have them already. More info are coming in from those that have the updates.
  10. You get 2 free maintenance a year. Regardless of miles on the car. It's the oil change/tire rotation and whatever the other offer they included into the deal for you to purchase it. I just did it because the break in period is about 2-4k and we took a long trip. Just wanted new oil in when I reset it and hopefully see the mpg increase which it is every day. Loving the car so far. That's what I was told, typically 2 oil change a year for 4 years as part of the vehicle warranty. So might want to ask your service manager to make sure. The service schedule on the owners site does list the 10k, 20k, etc service interval like you said.
  11. Sorry to hear that happening to you. Regarding, MPG most of it is driving style but then it could be the faulty module like you say. Check out http://www.fuelly.com/car/lincoln/mkz/2013 a lot of us are on that site reporting our mpg there. Mines reaching almost 40mpg with mix driving. I've reset my lifetime around 4500 and got the first maintenance done last week. On the software update for the hybrid, it's a mix review from what I'm hearing but I will be updating anyways. It's nice to go EV up to 85MPH but I'm sticking to around 65 or so anyways. I'm not in a hurry any ways.
  12. Aw that sucks. Hope everything turns out ok and you're not left with the bill.
  13. Do you know where the sound is coming from at all? Sure it's not the buffeting sound you hear? Perhaps faulty grill shutter. Without narrowing where the sound is, it's hard to troubleshoot.
