  1. 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium with Intelligent Access Keyfob The proximity entry , lock and unlock work fine with both my key fobs. The remote unlock and lock, trunk open, and remote start do not work on either key fob. I bought new batteries for the key fobs thinking that they just didn't have enough power for the remote transmitter function. But that did nothing. And usually the SYNC system will tell me when a key fob is getting a low battery. I suspect that the receiver on the car is not working, therefore not picking up any remote signals. I suspect the proximity entry is a separate signal based on passive sensing. Has anyone has this problem? The dealer said I'd have to pay at least an hour of diagnosis and I'd rather try to get the remote feature working again myself.
  2. This could be from the wheel balancing machine. Did they rebalance after your road hazard tire repair?
  3. Yes, the edges of the headliner are crap. You can easily see this on the windshield and rear window edges. It's like they cut the headliner with a jigsaw . It's frayed and unraveled. All Fusions I've looked at are the same. Poor supplier quality. I was going to find a light gray edge strip with I could put over the edge of the headliner and prevent it was falling apart in the future.
  4. They had the first set of parts when I took the car in, But upon opening the headliner package, they discovered the headliner had wrinkles. So they went to other local dealers and got 5 other headliners before they could find 1 that had the least wrinkles. They concluded that the suppliers packaging was crushing the headliner and causing the creases and wrinkles. Meanwhile, the fuel pump recall happened, and my car was grounded at the dealer until the replacement fuel pump was delivered. I was raising a fuss about the headliner when I visited them and saw they broke fastening tabs on the A Pillar, B Pillar, and C Pillars as they were taking everything apart. So I said that they needed to replace those as well, since I didn't want to find out they just slapped it loosely back together with gaps and hidden problems. So they took a long time to get this all fixed to acceptable quality.
  5. My headliner issue has caused me three dealership visits and 35 days without my car. Thy went through 6 headliners. They broke A pillars B pillars, and C pillars. They put it together poorly. It's been a bad experience. They said it was the suppliers fault that the headliners were so wrinkled.
  6. Sorry, it is the 2.0L ecoboost. I guess others are noticing it too. The other thing I noticed yesterday is that when I turn the car off, the cooling fan vibrates quite a bit while it is spinning down. It seems off balance which could add to the overall vibration under the hood.
  7. 2013 2.5L ecoboost titanium pkg I've noticed significant engine vibration with the transmission in drive, at a stop, while the AC is on. With the AC off, there is less vibration. During the colder months after I purchased the car, there was absolutely no vibration. It was silky smooth, very quiet, etc. But now it the hot months this issue is present. I've checked under the hood and indeed the engine is shuddering very significantly. Also there is excessive vibration from the cooling fan, almost as if it is not balanced correctly. I will be scheduling an appt with the dealer. Anyone else notice this?
  8. Does anyone understand the use and capability of the SYNC Wifi ? Is the idea to setup a local Wifi in the car, sourced through a cell phone in the car? Is anyone using this successfully?
  9. My 2013 FFT sticker says it came with a "Low tire Pressure Monitor". I've looked through the driver screens and cannot find anywhere that shows the tire pressures. Does anyone know if there is a menu or screen that shows the tire pressures? Am I wrong in assuming that I should see tire pressures somewhere?
  10. I've had the car for about 30 days so far. My first complaints are: 1. headliner material sagging and coming loose. Dealer says they'll have to replace the whole headliner. 2. fuel tank filling capacity not get near 16.5 gallons, making more frequent fill-ups necessary. 3. handling: steering feel is very vague and unpredictable during cornering 4. MPG averaging 22.5 mixed and 26.5 highway. Not getting in the 30's at all.
  11. I have let my 2013 FWD 2.0L get to 5 miles from empty, and it only takes around 12 gallons before the pump clicks off. And after filling, the tank gauge inside does not show full. After a dozen or so fill-ups so far, this happens every time. This is a real aggravating problem, causing more frequent fill-ups tan should be necessary.
  12. My first week, and mine's averaging 20 mpg in mixed driving. Hopefully this will improve.
  13. Thanks. I ordered the Huskies today. Front, rear, and trunk liners in black.
