Sorry for the extended delay (especially since you were so prompt in your responses). I know you don't have much time to read lots of things, so will get to it.... Car did show up a few days later, but had paint problems and had to go through some run-around to get it partially repainted and in the middle of that we had a flood and the car had to be moved, delaying it further and then we had more flooding which has taken more of my time. I could go on...blah blah blah... I did finally take some pictures to share as you request, but can't figure out how to post them. Car just came back from a nice visit to the NASCAR race in Martinsville and is an absolute pleasure to drive. Onc last time...thanks so much for taking your valuable time to provide this service to me and others!

The website is screwed up, for sure. It shows all the colors including discontinued ones on front page, but I think they took off the discontinued ones on the specific model pages (at least that's better than when they still had them there)...problem is, they must not have put up the new colors. For example, I planned to order Kona Blue, but when my dealer went to order it kicked it out. After confirming the new Sonic Blue was OK, it was ordered and in fact is scheduled to be build tomorrow. The window sticker online shows the Sonic Blue, but if I tried to configure one on the website, it's not an option. Go see a dealer and work it out and I'm sure they can order. Or, if you want to get quotes (assuming you plan to order and not get from inventory), I'd pick another color and then you can tell the dealer what you really want. Good luck! It's a shame...a company as large as Ford and can't maintain an accurate website...wonder how many sales they lost over it (or at least angry customers)? ...sorry, this was supposed to go onto another thread...not sure how it ended up here!!

I still love my 94...some days I wish it had a little more "aggressive look", but it's still my favorite since the original, but I am a little biased

knock on wood, but up "North" in PA, I seem to get 7 or more years out of batteries...including the Mustang that doesn't get run much (and sits for 3-4 months in winter with monthly starts, and my truck has lots of starts with short trips. I always have load test done about annually once it starts to get older, and that has seemed to work well...I"m sure there's better technology out there and they're introducing it as things get tested. We won't recognize cars in a few years!

At one time in late 80's and 90's, Ford had lots of AWD options. I remember an 87 or 88 company car Tempo that had it. I have to say in may ways the car was a piece of crap, but even with the poor maint my company did on it, it ran forever and pushing the little AWD button seemed to make it go pretty good in the snow. I understand fuel economy, but I wish there were more AWD options at reasonable prices and still good mileage...Anyone else think there is such a market. I was hoping the C-MAX might have some option like that, but not seeing it...was going to wait, but figured I'd just order the Focus now....still miss my Bronco II and Explorer. The F-150 just doesn't have the same feel and don't think handles as well in snow, just better "clearance" due to height...by design, of course weight distribution is the issue, but I knew that, that's why I wish more AWD options in some more efficient/lower price cars. Of course there's always an Escape, but looking for something more universal. Can't fault a guy for wishing

I loved my 87 Bronco-II. The 91 Explorer that replaced it had more room, but was just not as fun. Mid-life crisis...want my Bronco-II back Something more like a traditional "jeep"...a little more refined, fun, and most importantly with a Blue Oval!!

My 2000 F150 odometer goes blank some times...seems more often and longer the hotter the temp. I had seen a forum that showed a step-by-step repair of what appears to be a loose connection, and makes sense with the relationship to temperature...anyone have a link to info on that? Thanks!

I test-drove two of the Automated Manuals and thought they worked great...I try to drive like a NASCAR driver conserving fuel...act like an egg under the pedal, and they worked fine. I was also concerned about hill start, and as long as you don't sit there too long with foot off gas which is bad for any tranny, it seemed fine. Not that I have any problem on hills with a manual, but didn't want to be surprised by drift. I think it worked fine and can't wait to get my new Focus to really try it out!

I think they are selling pretty well...most dealers can't keep them on the lot long, unless they have crappy option packages...I may not buy a vehicle often, but when I do, I've found ordering is the way to go. This is the 3rd time in 17 years, and best price yet...can't wait for my 2012 Focus!

How can you go about getting the rebate form for the $750 private offer? Anyone know if that's still available?
