  1. My brother just got a recall in the mail today for coolant level sensor. Apparently if the coolant level drops down too low it blows the head gasket and spews oil on the manifold and burns your car up. I guess that not a serious issue...
  2. No one is doubting that the band was doing the rock and roll thing. The fact is their accusers are anonymous. Patrick Brown has denied all the accusations, has not been formally charged and has proof that at least some of them are false. If you carefully read the accusations they are questionable at best. He is now one of the favorites to be re-elected party leader. His accusations come at a very suspicious time as well. There is a provincial election in the next few months and the opposing party stands to lose large to him.
  3. Here's one that pops into mind. So far all accusers are anonymous but the damage is done. https://www.narcity.com/news/canadian-band-hedley-are-being-accused-of-sexually-assaulting-young-fans We've also recently lost a well respected political party leader with some very questionable and unproven accusations. He is now suing the CBC and will likely go after others before he is done but his politcal career is in the crapper. https://www.google.ca/search?q=patrick+brown&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&gws_rd=cr&dcr=0&ei=-hOTWtHCHsndjwTBgqT4CA
  4. Don't think it will be coming back as a CUV. Firstly it doesn't begin with the letter E. lol They did say that the Thunderbird name will make an occasional return to the Ford lineup but won't likely become a permanent fixture anymore.
  5. I agree in this case. There is a disturbing trend of anonymous accusations lately. Just being accused shouldn't be enough to end a career but sadly it is.
  6. After so many years of multiple recalls and well documented problems with the fusion I am not surprised to see it's sales drop by that much. Design is 5 years old now and still they haven't fixed all the issues. My Brother has a fusion and I have never seen so many recalls and tsb's on any car ever. It seems like every week he gets a letter from ford for yet another problem. Look at the door latch issue that's been ongoing since 2015my f150's were introduced and yet Ford still hangs on to the poor design of the latches. It's the battle of building your car with 30,000 parts all made by the lowest bidder.
  7. I've looked at many Tesla model S cars and driven them. The early ones were mostly hand built and quite nice. The newer ones are less perfect. They are still pretty good. Let's be honest here. Ford isn't at the top of the heap with fit and finish either. The Model S I drove last year was the quietest car I have ever driven. Very well put together with no rattles etc. I think for a relatively new manufacturer with such huge demand they are doing quite well. We haven't seen hype and demand for a new model like the model 3 since the first display of the 65 mustang. It's going to be tough to beat Tesla when they have the supporting infrastructure for fast charging around the world. Yeah I wish I had a Model S
  8. Exactly true. The 2.3 could easily be upgraded to handle way more power. Closed deck with more clamping force on the head and a couple of more psi and you are easily at 400 hp. Remember Ford doesn't want the baby Raptor stepping on the toes of the much more profitable F150 Raptor. After all the F150 Raptor here in Canada is 90K. Lots of profit in there.
  9. This is not the end of "resignations" like this. Simply being accused even by anonymous accusers is enough to end a career.
  10. Problem with that is it would eliminate a huge chunk of your payload. Isn't that why fleets buy trucks? Payload?
