  1. I'm being told that the VEBA has a ton of money in it, and continues to grow as "legacy" pass on. They are trying to determine how to deal with the excess. Next gen employees is likely the end result, as they retire, they will need insurance. Contract talks...
  2. Thank you. Job 1 for the battery is Feb. 7th. I have been told there is not much storage room for the batteries, therefore they won't have a super large number sitting around waiting.
  3. Anybody on here working with the new Lightning? Are they close to going to production? Care to share the Job 1 date.... The battery will be ready to go soon.
  4. Would you mind giving out that marketing number??
  5. So the Fusion is done now. Anybody have any pictures of the last one?
  6. That would be pretty cool if they did. According this page, it should have been yesterday.
  7. SSM 48899 - 2018-2020 F-150/F-Super Duty - Tailgate Step Assemblies - Step Binds/Will Not Open Or Opens/Pops Up While Driving Some 2018-2020 F-150 and F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with tailgate step assemblies may exhibit a step assembly that binds/will not open or opens/pops up while driving. This could be due to an incorrect adjustment of the step assembly. Before replacing any components for this concern, follow the Tailgate Step Adjustment procedure in Workshop Manual, Section 501-04, General Procedures. 8. Thanks... I read the title but didn't open it. The title and first post was April , 2019.
  9. Fusion/ MKZ balance out date?
  10. Here is what the 2015 highlights said: "The bargaining committee also removed the cap on the amount of company profits captured in our profit-sharing plan. In the 2011 agreement, we would not have been paid on any profits above $12 billion. That is no longer the case. The cap is eliminated, allowing UAW-Ford members to truly share in all of the upside when times are extremely good." Therefore, your pay would still be based off of how many straight time hours you were paid. This is what one of my checks showed at the bottom of the stub, the calculation for what I was paid: YOUR UAW-FORD PROFIT SHARE EQUALS COMPENSATED HRS OF 2,745.50 TIMES THE 2017 $/COMP HR OF 3.39907
  11. I did read somewhere that the 12K cap was taken away last contract. I don't know for sure but it appears by your earnings that it was. That only means that you put in a lot of overtime to get that. I know I got a lot because of added construction type jobs but it fell short of yours.
  12. This is why some people shouldn't comment on forums. They can't read and have no clue. It appears that this person doesn't get a profit sharing check, else they'd know how it works. Unbelievable.
  13. I'm curious about the part of the uncapped profit sharing.. it use to be capped at 12. I grossed almost $170k last year and still didn't break 12k on my gross profit sharing... how much are you guys making to top that 12k? I mean really? That would be some extremely serious overtime.
  14. They kill off some of the gravel and dirt noise that is being thrown from the tires onto the metal wheelwell.
  15. Quick question... any chance we will see another Lightning with the new model?
