  1. 2012 long box SCREW F150 3.73 gears. Less than 15mpg since day one on mixed driving. 24,000 miles. Don't really care. Love the truck. AFE stage 2 intake and 4" exhaust had zero effect on it. I don't see how people are getting these 20+ mpgs. My only complaint is the ECO in front of the Boost. Its a flat lie to me and likely damaging to customers that buy on the ECO instead of the Boost.
  2. I went and looked at 2 of them yesterday. Jaw dropping. Both were sold. Both white. The dealer had other people asking about them while I was there and I heard the guy say backorder. The 2 door is the way to go. The thing looks like a concept sketch inside and out. Fun afternoon by the way. Landrover is paired with Jaguar and its right next to a Porsche and Audi dealer. We walked all 3 lots. I drove the FIesta.... no one greeted us!
  3. Extended warranty? You must sell those things for a living.... Nuts, bolts and electricity. Better get familiar with them.
  4. I doubt that anyone is creating issues. My concern is how engaged these people are. They might be doing things right and still be wrong because they aren't looking to improve.
  5. Now used car buyers are going to have to be VIN decoders on these Fusions to make sure you get a mexican one. Used to be this way on the late 90's Cavaliers. The less junky ones were mexican, the real shitty ones were built in Ohio. Create some new success on a new platform based on what made this one successful and let this one continue as is. I sound like a hater but my business sense says this is dumb.
  6. Fusion and Fiesta were new platforms in a new plant with new equipment and techniques. THe only problem out of those 2 were some faulty transmissions on the Fiesta
  7. Quality, quality. They build a damn fine car in Mexico. If the Fusions get moved up here we can finally answer the Plant and Equipment or the People question. American jobs don't mean shit if the radio is crooked, the suspension creaks, plastics don't match, edges are rough and irregular, bumpers are crooked, body panel gaps are crooked and so on. No one will buy them.
  8. http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/suvs/1103_2011_honda_pilot_test/ Posting similar numbers the Honda Pilot doesn't get shelled by Motortrend nearly as bad as the Explorer. Conspiracy? You guys think so!
  9. Yep. I'm not looking for a Camry, it doesn't interest me but I was intrigued that there were a few jap made ones that still get over here.
  10. I wonder what the conditions/options are that you have to order to get a Jap built Camry? If I were ever in the market for such a car I would jump whatever hoop I needed to in order to get the Japanese made one. In that low of volume you know they are built by Toyota's best and longest tenured people left in the Japanese factory.
  11. Love the state fair. I have 2 of the 2010 Fusion Hybrid shirts that I had "won" from last year. The Ford display was blah. I spent more time in the Buick/GMC display than any of the others. Buicks are HOT!
  12. I would totally roll that Juke around town. I'd put HID's and big rims on it with that little turbo. Straight cash.
  13. Mine was garbage sounding on my very early 2010 Fusion Hybrid. It was mounted in the mirror on top. I discovered by looking through the grill that the mic inside was actually pointed towards the passenger. I flipped the mirror over, it put the mic on the bottom and pointed it at the driver, voice quality and noise improved drastically. It took maybe a week to get used to how the mirror looked.
