Tow Piglet is on his second 2020 F350 so he's over 100k miles and hasn't reported a problem. Quite the opposite, he praises the 10 speed every chance he gets.

A guy I worked with when I was in the Auto industry says he witnessed more than once a Dodge pickup pulled off the transport because the transmission wouldn't work. This was around 20 years ago but machines are machines.
My tech friend talked to a former co-worker at a GM/FCA dealer and he said the GM HD 10 speed was having logic problems with the shifting. I haven't talked to him about it since so I don't know if it was a software fix or something more.
