The quandry you are in and must solve is: Are you a Rep first or an autoworker first? The events of the last week proves that one cannot be both... anymore.

Because you, being a Rep, should lead by example. That is a basic plank of any Rep platform. Yep, certainly did and certainly is. My hobby/business is also very much tied to those with discretionary spending. Instead of waiting to watch my hobby/buisiness fall overnight like my wife's 401K, I tend to plan ahead. When the wife came home with her bad news, it was time to act immediately. That is so very true. There is a youtube video of the 2007 convention where one easily sees this as the norm. I don't have the url but you can do a search of 'UAW' on youtube and find it. If every union person would see the vids of the 2007 convention, there would be an overwhelming protest for One Man, One Vote. It is well overdue.
