  1. Don't be holding back none, Steve... tell him how you really feel! Why anyone would want to take a classic example of Faux News writing a self-serving bigoted piece and present it here for any type of worthy discussion is worrisome. What meaning does that article have in the D2 loan issue? The only subject this article is related to is union-busting, plain and simple. Why the first paragraph states that 'the union isn't out of the bunker just yet.' This is just a prelude to what Faux is going to do when card check comes up next year. A call of 'let's boil the oil to throw on the UAW' is all this is. You did notice that this article wasn't signed by the writer? You did notice this article used Justin Wilson, managing director of the Center for Union Facts, as it's main source of info? You did notice the total lack of any balance with facts as to how Black Lake has trained thousands of union minded people? The only meaningful info I got from this article is that Wilson probably has a huge stake in Ramada Inn.
  2. Yea, you're right, Critic. It's just that he is so easy... For the life of me, I can't see why he, akirby and dolemite don't all get together, buy three dildoes and go take a wild vacation to Vegas together.
  3. Geez Nappy, you really need more help than your benefits would pay for. Nappy is a simple nick for Nap. Only an unequivical retard would equate Nappy with nappie, a racial slur in some circles. I will take it back about your value as snake nut-cheese though. I highly doubt you are even worth half as much.
  4. Nappy, I know you have a problem reading, you've proved it before. As I have told you before, go back and read slowly. You have never said I should give up my benefits and I never said you did. Mine are similar to yours. I did say that 'you feel you 'earned' your bennies and active employees should follow the ignorant public's desire in giving up theirs.' To qualify that statement, one only needs to browse the "Pearl Harbor" thread. Your comments there (and here) are replete with the same old tired Rep cliches and agenda of union busting. The quandry you are in and must solve is: Are you a Rep first or an autoworker first? The events of the last week proves that one cannot be both... anymore.
  5. Because you, being a Rep, should lead by example. That is a basic plank of any Rep platform. Instead, you moan, bitch and whine about those active employees whom moan, bitch and whine about losing their contracted benefits. Seems to me, you are just another passenger in the entitlement boat. The only exception is you feel you 'earned' your bennies and active employees should follow the ignorant public's desire in giving up theirs. To me, that puts you in the same catagory as snake nut-cheese... and worth about half as much.
  6. ...and if it didn't, would we be too buzzed to care? The Prohibition should be done and over with. Let me have a chance to enjoy my retirement and grow some Acapulco Gold. It's a beautiful plant anyhow.
  7. Interesting that you would use that against one whom is pro-autoworker. You never said a word about akirby's non-employee status when he was bashing autoworkers. In fact, you went out of your way to support akirby's childish bashing in the "Pearl Harbor" thread. Perhaps if you weren't so Hannitized, you would actually be able to see that ALL the drivel being spit out by anti-autoworkers is nothing more than union-busting as set down in Rep's 'Action Alert' memo. Napfirst, is your nick of a Ford plant in Virginia or is it what Hannity suggests you do before spewing hatred?
  8. That has been covered numerous times on BO, nappy. You'll have to go back to watching Sean to see what other points you can use to attempt to stir shit up.
  9. Yep, certainly did and certainly is. My hobby/business is also very much tied to those with discretionary spending. Instead of waiting to watch my hobby/buisiness fall overnight like my wife's 401K, I tend to plan ahead. When the wife came home with her bad news, it was time to act immediately. The ones mentioned are just a few of the actions I took for what I believe the future holds. Of course, you have proved, once again, that you are too dense to understand basic logic and need it explained to you.
  10. That is so very true. There is a youtube video of the 2007 convention where one easily sees this as the norm. I don't have the url but you can do a search of 'UAW' on youtube and find it. If every union person would see the vids of the 2007 convention, there would be an overwhelming protest for One Man, One Vote. It is well overdue.
