  1. Agreed. People seem to forget that the U in SUV used to stand for utility, this Evo is nothing more than a hatchback. HRG
  2. Maybe this will be the impetus he needs to find a different employer that he'll be happier at,,,,,, HRG
  3. And I was THIS close to buying some F this morning, figuring there would be a bounce once a TA was announced,,,, HRG
  4. To say it was close would be an understatement. I Hope this results in members getting their addresses on-file corrected, before the next election. HRG
  5. Uh, scroll up a bit, he had one on a "2-week" test drive,,,,,, HRG
  6. Isn't the possible Maverick SUV already called Bronco Sport? Or are you thinking taking advantage of the longer wheelbase and making a 3-row version? HRG
  7. Here you go AK, this should help you get lumber home in a hurry,,,,,, https://www.thedrive.com/news/widebody-ford-f-150-single-cab-street-truck-is-a-dealer-build-we-can-get-behind HRG
  8. Fuzzy, Do you think there's a possibility of Fain & Co "rotating the pain", and allowing MAP to go back to work, but then close one of the F-150 plants? This way, more of the Membership shares in the sacrifices. HRG
  9. Heck, look at how the made in China Buick Envision far outsells the made in Kentucky USA Lincoln Corsair,,,, HRG
  10. Don't confuse the block design problem with the EGR valve issue, that also results in coolant loss. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10177867-0001.pdf HRG
  11. Ask your dealer to look at the July 2023 C&I Programs for Retail Ordered Vehicles document, that provides the information you are looking for. I have seen it, but I am not authorized to share it. HRG
  12. He's already indicated that he does not have a rollover, he has a new order. I think he may be asking if his price is locked-in at time of order, and not subject to mid-year price increase. Maybe? HRG
  13. Understood, but they're working 40 hours. Not 32, but expecting to be paid at the 40-hour rate. HRG
  14. I get the hiring more people part, and everyone gets 3-day weekends, it's the 40-hour pay demand that has me stymied. HRG
  15. OK, I obviously have trouble with comprehension, so could someone explain to me the rational behind the 32-hour workweek at 40-hour pay? By my math, that's a 26% per hour increase, independent of whatever wage increase is negotiated. How is this even possible to ask for? HRG
  16. If Google Maps can be believed, it looks like the steel that was once up is now gone,,,,, https://www.npr.org/sections/parallels/2017/01/05/508287656/canceled-ford-plant-adds-to-mexicos-economic-frustrations HRG
  17. Right now in my driveway I have a made in Canada Edge, and a made in Mexico Maverick. As much as I wanted to order a made in USA '24 Ranger, and waited years for the latest update, the cost was too much to accept. I can't imagine that USA-made products won't see an additional MSRP increase as a result of whatever the new contract costs. HRG
  18. Are you kidding? You want to take the right of approval out of the hands of the members? At 73%, they've told the negotiators to go do a better job. HRG
  19. It's been a while, but I used to be proud to be able to provide my talent and "swing a hammer" for that organization, until I realized they were more interested in a financial contribution than a physical one. HRG
  20. Did you read the NHTSA.Gov pdf linked above? 809 engines have been replaced (so far). HRG
  21. 809 engine replacements sounds like it was more than just Bronco failures, which is all we really heard about last year. HRG
