  1. Possibly ordered with little to no deposit, by people anticipating flipping them for big bucks? My traded-in '23 XLT is still sitting on my dealers lot. They started with $8K over my trade-in value, have dropped down to $5K over (still over the original MSRP window sticker). HRG
  2. And the grand prize on Wheel of Fortune tonight was a Grabber Blue Mach E,,,, No thanks, I'll take the cash Hahahaha, HRG
  3. It wasn't just one location,,,,, https://electrek.co/2024/01/16/dead-tesla-cars-pile-up-chicago-superchargers-extreme-cold/ HRG
  4. As akirby has often said, there must be an awful lot of folks with BEV's that don't have the ability to charge at home, and rely on charging stations when needed. HRG
  5. IMO, most power outages don't occur on bright sunny days, so the solar aspect probably won't add to your power generation equation when you need to start depleting the battery bank. HRG
  6. With 48.03" between the wheelwells, and 70.9" of floor length, I could easily bring 4x8 sheet goods home, as long as the rear doors don't block the opening. No different than my Maverick with the sheets over-hanging the tailgate. HRG
  7. I wonder if your pinion failure is in any way related to the front pinion failure that occurred on some F-150/Expi/Navi's last year, due to lack of heat treatment? Wonder if the same vendor is involved? https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls?nhtsaId=23V128000 HRG
  8. Anybody else wondering if he forgot to include the word Mustang in his description,,,,,,,,, HRG
  9. My guess is that your BL Nauti isn't $19,995 , so a lot fewer people in line trying to buy one,,,,, HRG
  10. well shucks, the base price for the plug-in Escape is $40,500 add the Premium package and Vista moonroof and it starts adding up,,,,, HRG
  11. He no longer has the access he once had. Here it is. HRG 2024_Escape_Order Guide.pdf
  12. Well heck, using that kind of logic you could eliminate the entire Lincoln brand, and lose less than 82K units, minus those that would buy the Ford version. HRG
  13. So what? I'm counting 19 different models between Ford & Lincoln, roughly the same as the 40 spread across 4 different nameplates by GM. HRG
  14. And that's why you're not selling new cars,,,,,,, Happy New Year! HRG
  15. Yeah, but I bet this will fit better in the back of a F-150 than an Explorer,,,,,, HRG
  16. Really? https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedia/fna/us/en/news/2017/07/20/f-150-police-responder.html HRG
  17. You don't really think the 2024 F-150 Police Responder is a new idea, do you? They first launched it back in the 2018MY, so there's been 5-6 years to prove the concept. HRG
  18. Really? I find my 80 y/o sisters' 2003 Mustang to be a PITA to get in/out of, my Maverick is much easier. My brother & SIL find their Edges easier to use than their previous Fusion. HRG
  19. That survey is over 3 years old, would be interesting if the 40% excited for a EV truck would still apply. https://fordauthority.com/2020/06/new-ford-survey-gives-us-a-fascinating-look-at-americas-love-affair-with-trucks/ HRG
  20. All one has to do is look at the sales numbers between the 2, and let the facts speak for themselves. The people who "preferred" the Santa Cruz aren't actually willing to put their money behind their opinion. HRG
  21. Interesting that you mention a longer BS. Last week, while taking delivery of my '24 Maverick, I asked my wife to look at the BS they had in the showroom, as a possible replacement for our Daughters '18 Escape. The only thing she mentioned was the lack of legroom in the back seat, that putting a car seat in would be a problem. HRG
  22. I agree, especially since, IIRC, he owned both a Tesla Model S AND a Mach-E, so he was speaking from real-life experience. HRG
  23. I can't find it, but does this site allow users to "block" seeing posts from selected members? I find that feature pretty useful on other forums. HRG
