  1. I don't think that list is dealer stock only, at least not by the language in the 1st paragraph. HRG
  2. Honestly, he's not the only one who tries to push their opinion on others as "fact". HRG
  3. Plus, it was stupidly expensive if all you wanted was a 4(full)-door Ranger. HRG
  4. And keep the OAL the same? No thanks, that extra 10" makes a difference in how it fits in my garage. HRG
  5. Except a 2024 Edge SEL is AWD, so a 2025 Explorer Active with AWD and Active Comfort is $47,695. Let's compare apples to apples. HRG
  6. Huh? I've been trying to convince my wife to get a '24 Edge before they're gone, when I build a similar '25 Explorer Active it's $6K more at MSRP. Maybe share the video link that show's me what I'm missing? HRG
  7. Well, it WAS National Pizza Day. Everybody went to Buddy's,,,,, HRG
  8. The irony is that the UAW got their members a $1500 Member Discount, on top of the A-Plan employee purchase plan an employee can use, so they don't have to pay the up-charge as a result of their new contract. HRG
  9. https://www.yahoo.com/news/us-auto-retailers-falling-vehicle-175218499.html After years of reduced inventory and ADM's, the tide is turning. HRG
  10. Just wait until the Cali $50/hour minimum wage proposals gain traction,,,,, https://www.foxnews.com/politics/california-senate-candidates-spar-over-dems-proposal-minimum-wage HRG
  11. The truck you are looking for is available, just over the border,,,,, https://www.vw.com.mx/es/autos-suvs/saveiro.html HRG
  12. Funny you ask. 2 Edges fit much better than 2 Explorers, on my 33' (396") long driveway, without overhanging the sidewalk, hitting the door, or each other. HRG
  13. Heck, mine is at the dealer as we speak getting a new set of glossy black rims,,,,,, HRG
  14. Agreed, width can be a problem too. Here is my current garage, 19' 7" wide, 19' 5" from the door to the stub wall next to the stairs. My HOA mandates no sheds or outside storage of trash cans, so EVERYTHING has to be inside. My Maverick fits fine on the left side (backed-in), my wife's Edge is on the right. HRG
  15. Agreed, but what about shelving, workbenches, garbage cans, lawn mowers/snow blowers? I don't know of anyone with a "naked" garage. HRG
  16. After the engine on my 2018 Escape was replaced under warranty, due to coolant intrusion, I purchased a Ford extended warranty, just for additional peace of mind. Below is the exact language of what is covered under the PremiumCare version that I bought. What does your paperwork say? HRG This appears to be the latest TSB, issued in June 2022, after the 2021 cut-off date. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2022/MC-10214126-0001.pdf
  17. Aren't these EV's coming with the Nema 14-50 pigtail anymore? While a dedicated charger would be faster, this would certainly suit my needs. HRG
  18. For all the time I've spent in SE Michigan, most people there seem to think that Windsor/Canada is just a suburb of Detroit,,,,, HRG
  19. Well, there you go. You found yourself a vehicle with a NA engine and a manual transmission, albeit one that cost more than a base Maverick. Good luck bringing that 4x8 sheet home with it though. HRG
  20. Have you had to replace the battery yet? That's another head-shaker,,,,, HRG
  21. That's interesting, since my daughters 2018 Escape has the 3-1/2" rubber grommets to remove, but no screws holding the bulbs in, just the typical twistlock lamp base. Still a PITA, but not a 4-hour job. HRG
  22. Huh? The base Maverick XL w/the 2.0EB already has a nearly $5K MSRP price advantage over your base trim RAV4 example. How much lower do you think Maverick needs to be? HRG
