  1. My son, that lives in Germany, is considering revoking his US Citizenship to become a German citizen (at the moment, Germany does not allow dual-citizenship), the US Government charges $2350 to do so,,,,, HRG
  2. Hope the kid & his family don't "lawyer up", and drag you and the dealership into court,,,,,,, HRG
  3. Heck, I bought one last month, just because my wife has so enjoyed her '19. 0% for 66 months. HRG
  4. Admittedly, it was old. but, as a phone & text device, it served my needs. I'm not one to run out and spend $$$ just to get the latest device. Heck, the Dell laptop I'm typing this on is 8 years old,,,, HRG
  5. After a FordPass update in Jan 23 obsoleted my Android, I found out that while Androids don't update OS's, iPhones do. Got tired of app after app no longer working with my 'droid, the FordPass update was the last straw. HRG
  6. And I can proudly say, in a company with thousands of employee's, I was the last one to give up my Blackberry,,,,,, HRG
  7. I really, really wanted to order a Gen6 Ranger, but with my retirement in 6/2023 (and losing my company car), I'd have been 9+ months waiting on them to finally start shipping. I'm already on my 2nd Maverick, and you're right, adding another $10K to get the features I want in a Ranger just doesn't make sense for me. Still waiting on one to show up at a nearby dealers lot to look at though. HRG
  8. The TSB started with the MY2017 for the Fusion. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10169807-0001.pdf HRG
  9. Have they actually removed the head and determined that the block is cracked? Considering the original head gasket/block design lasted 6 years, I'd be interested that this isn't the much more common gasket failure, and some time could be bought by having a new gasket installed. I've been thru this coolant intrusion problem & had the short block replaced, so I'm more familiar than most. HRG
  10. Did you not receive an Order Preview sheet, showing all the equipment and Priority level? HRG
  11. As per the linked document, it's a 5-hour pressure test, followed by a borescope inspection. Certainly should not take a week. HRG
  12. Possibly the coolant intrusion problem. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10169807-0001.pdf HRG
  13. I'll be really surprised if they bring the SuperCab Ranger back in the US. I'll bet that most of the prior generation were fleet/delivery vehicles, the market seems to be pretty happy with Maverick filling that slot. HRG
  14. Actually, for tax year 2024, the married couple standard deduction is $29,500 https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-provides-tax-inflation-adjustments-for-tax-year-2024 HRG
  15. The one for $32K in PA? Just for peace of mind, I'd ask for more than the 90 day/4K warranty, maybe try to get 12 month/12K included? HRG
  16. OK, OK. I sure would have thought that F-150 usage alone would have beat the FWD numbers. HRG
  17. The traverse applications of these engines has to be a minority compared to the RWD versions, yet you want to paint all of them with the same brush. HRG
  18. Great news, over at R6G guys are posting pictures of DELIVERED 2024 Rangers, and not just Raptors. Fuzzy's hard work is finally on the streets! HRG
  19. Because people keeping responding to her. Stop engaging, and move on to more productive conversations. HRG
  20. Happy wife, happy life! Thanks for your contribution to the build. HRG
  21. I'm adding another one to the fleet on Saturday, passing my wife's '19 to our daughter, trading-in the '18 Escape she uses now. My wife has so enjoyed hers, I couldn't let the inventory evaporate without getting a fresh one. And honestly, the incentives in my area are no big deal. HRG
  22. From what I'm reading on R6G, 50 or so 2024's shipped last week, with a confirmed delivery to a customer thru Brighton Ford in MI. It appears as though the OKTB might have been lifted. HRG
