  1. It isn't really hard to follow along. You said the Launch addition is $60k. You said throw in a 470hp v8 (Ford has 460-480hp 5.0 v8 options in their lineup (not bronco but Ford lineup) and the 5.0 is only a $800 upcharge in the f150 from the 2.7. So the v8 would be around a $800 upcharge for the same 2.7 to 5.0. So you are talking $61k compared to $75k less a suspension upgrade which at most would be a few thousand. No top being blown. I've been in jeeps, I have driven them (one in the family) and there is nothing worth anywhere near $75k in them.
  2. It is a $800 cost difference between the 2.7 and the 5.0. add in a few thousand for suspension (doubt it's that high for an upgrade) and you are far from the 10k you mention let alone the $15k difference in price.
  3. Read the rules before posting. https://blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/forum/80-vehicle-locator-by-ford-employees/
  4. So it's been announced, starts at $74,995. https://www.yahoo.com/autos/470-hp-jeep-wrangler-rubicon-211800367.html
  5. https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/porsche-says-synthetic-fuel-could-181000252.html Walliser claims the company’s synthetic fuel, which will be called eFuel, can be used in any combustion engine and is scheduled to start undergoing testing next year. The fuel is less complex than traditional gas—eight to 10 components compared to 30 to 40—allowing it to burn cleaner, with fewer particulates and NOx. Because of this, the total carbon footprint of the vehicle will be equal to that of an EV. “Synthetic fuel is cleaner and there is no bi-product, and when we start full production we expect a CO2 reduction of 85 percent,” Walliser told the publication. “From a ‘well to wheel’ perspective—and you have to consider the well to wheel impact of all vehicles—this will be the same level of CO2 produced in the manufacture and use of an electric vehicle.”
  6. SMH!!!!! https://www.yahoo.com/news/ford-recalls-f-150-super-222826924.html Ford announced that it is recalling about 80,000 F-150 and Super Dutypickup trucks in America due to concerns that the windshield may not be properly bonded to the vehicle structure. The company warns that in a collision the windshield may not stay in place, increasing the risk of injury. This recall affects 79,017 trucks in the U.S. and federal territories, 6,986 in Canada, and 1,347 in Mexico. Ford is not aware of any accidents or injuries related to this problem. Owners will be notified beginning in early April 2021.
  7. Already posted. Regardless of how small, it isn't what Ford needs. With how important they are, they should be perfect. Then again, look at the Explorer.
  8. Never going to guess why... Ford has lost track of some older Takata air bags that can explode and hurl shrapnel, so it’s recalling more than 154,000 vehicles in North America to check for them. The company on Thursday issued two recalls, with the largest coming because Ford can’t find 45 obsolete air bags that may have been installed on some old Ranger pickup trucks. The company says the air bags were not purged from the stock of service parts and could have been used in crash or theft repairs. This recall covers just over 153,000 Rangers from the 2004 through 2006 model years. https://www.marketwatch.com/story/ford-loses-track-of-dangerous-air-bags-forcing-2-new-recalls-01613699872?siteid=yhoof2
  9. Seriously.. how the hell does this keep happening???? https://www.yahoo.com/news/ford-bronco-sport-hit-another-225655733.html Ford announced on Thursday it is recalling 1,666 Bronco Sport models over rear-suspension components that may not be properly attached, just months after delivering the first vehicles in late 2020. "Affected 2021 Ford Bronco Sport vehicles were produced with rear suspension modules that may not be fully secured to the subframe. Rear suspension modules with loose or missing bolts may affect the vehicle's stability, increasing risk of an accident, and may result in reduced rear impact crash performance, increasing the risk of injury," the carmaker said in a press release.
  10. When you sell under 100k vehicles a year it is easy to hit 2.5% and have it mean nothing.
  11. 2020 Explorers had the same issue. Batteries drain over a few days, goes to deep sleep mode and can't start them unless jump started. https://amp.freep.com/amp/6753464002
  12. Or you shut off the bulb out warning via forscan and it won't hyperflash anywhere. Do not need any resistors.. No reason Ford can't..
  13. Wow, a penalty of $10 per vehicle sold. How will they ever pay for that...
  14. Was just reading comments on fb from some of the news outlets and every single one was destroying the logo.. could not find 1 person that liked it.
  15. I know that but I love how Ford says it is because it keeps the tips clean from soot on the dual exhaust lol. Ya ok Ford.
  16. It really makes it sound like they are saying they are the #1 for 29 years currently. Should say "was the #1 ford dealer in the world for 29 years".
  17. U0415 code is an ABS communication error. However I codes don't mean much. My guess is a bad sensor or issue with the wiring harness.
  18. Holy crap.. for a Jeep.. https://www.autoblog.com/2020/12/30/jeep-wrangler-392-pricing-rumor/?ncid=edlinkusauto00000016&guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cDovL20uZmFjZWJvb2suY29tLw&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAC0eL2BWH97tQNtRKQQc-S1WqLOago4o6tDjo9nGjhQSfVZV0NKvHEDH4Km4BeFA4-5vl5JqPQlTHPvTZCZL32rKJaupgKJXMa6_tjPGCXdXByZ9-fPEX_QuR9msalQt3Ihn3UrRbC2PZ39wNxTqV_I0AwSekYNeZX7fl0Cski8D " The Hemi-powered 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 appears as though it will be priced in the mid-$70,000 range, we learned early Wednesday, commanding a premium of nearly $30,000 over an equivalently optioned Rubicon with the 3.6L V6. A future owner on JLWranglerForums.com shared a screenshot of his 2021 Rubicon 392 build in Jeep's VIN tracking system showing a price of $77,055. While it was labeled in the interface as a Wrangler Unlimited Sport model (the base four-door trim), he says that the "27X" order code is for the 392 package. "
