I think for those who hate to negotiate this would work well. As far as dealer profit, between the difference of MSRP and invoice, the holdback, the floor plan assistance they would pocket for the vehicle not sitting and back end bonuses on volume, this is a big win.

That rear corner pic looks like the bed is so bloated (wheel wells are too far out) it doesnt match the width of the main body. Looks like it doesn't belong on that truck. Terrible design IMO.

There are a lot of electronics that stay alive. I get the same message on my 2020 Explorer and 2018 gt350. Neither battery is bad. I have a dash cam on both that uses very minimal draw but when it sits for days, I get the message. On the Explorer, even without the dashcam,the message will trigger after 3-5 days. For someone to just say the battery is bad off that basis rubbish.

That's like saying I need to sit on the seat naked because if I wear pants, they are useless.

I agree with doing away with fleet dumping but there is no way they will stick with MSRP. All it will take is a competitor to be too close in sales and money with be thrown on the hood. Rebates to clear out old inventory as new MY vehicles start production. Heck I just received a private offer of $2,500 on a new SD or Expedition in the mail.

Even had a gt500 in the showroom with no ADM. I know another dealer doing 2-4% under invoice on (except gt500) any vehicle that is a forum sponsor on another site. Deals are still out there

To the OP, you get the deals at the time of ordering or the deals at the time of delivery, nothing in between. Since your order was placed prior to this email, you get what was available at that time. If you wanted to take advantage of the email offer, you would of had to reorder your vehicle and get price protected with the deal pending the MY it is good for. So it is neither a shady dealer or Ford marketing.
