  1. How are your mpg? Are you seeing the 15mpg highway or is it worse?
  2. Your electric is not free even with it paid off. One way or another it's costing you money. I get a check every year from the excess of my solar. Then we also get the REC credits. No matter what, charging an EV will reduce your check that you get from the excess. No matter what, it's costing money out of your pocket because your refund isn't as big as it would be if you didn't charge the EV. And if you have extra every year, then you over paid for your solar because you didn't need as many panels. A properly designed solar system is supposed to break even every 12 month cycle.
  3. Reservations are not sales. And there are far more fuel powered vehicles being sold then EVs.
  4. https://jalopnik.com/hyundai-and-kia-will-lose-2-billion-on-fixing-bad-engi-1849671352 https://www.classaction.org/blog/new-hyundai-kia-engine-failure-settlement-covers-2m-additional-vehicles Just google "Hyundai blown engine" Funny watching a tech post videos.. he is doing one engine a day, has over 50 done this year to date and is estimating 225-250 by the end of the year at the going rate and when he pans across the shop at the dealership, it's crate after crate after crates of engines.
  5. There are forum supporting dealers that have been and still are offering deals on mustangs. Even throughout COVID, mustangs 2% under MSRP.. and they are offering the Dark Horse at MSRP (zero markup). It's on the customer to shop around and not get taken by ADMs.
  6. Make no sense? How about interest rates are going through the roof, a recession is here.. people are not spending like they used to and now they are trying to cut prices to get sales. Many manufacturers are running rebates.. Ford is offering $4k+ rebates on vehicles like the Explorer, VW is offering a $3k rebate on a new VW. The cost of EV continue to increase and are turning many away that were potentially interested.
  7. Saw this on TikTok. Yes I know, it's TikTok but would love to hear what others think of this bit. It discussed the mining aspects required for electric cars. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRb3LQPM/
  8. Toyota President Uncertain About EVs Toyota's slow adoption of all-electric vehicles was reinforced by the company's president, Akio Toyoda, in comments made during a visit to Thailand, the Wall Street Journal reported. "People involved in the auto industry are largely a silent majority,” Toyoda said. “That silent majority is wondering whether EVs are really OK to have as a single option. But they think it’s the trend so they can’t speak out loudly.” Toyota has not been quick to buy into the all-electric trend, as the company has focused on a lineup of gasoline-powered cars, hybrids and hydrogen-powered vehicles instead of concentrating on converting to all-electric models. “Because the right answer is still unclear, we shouldn’t limit ourselves to just one option,” Mr. Toyoda said. https://www.thestreet.com/automotive/toyotas-president-has-a-take-on-going-all-electric?puc=yahoo&cm_ven=YAHOO

  10. Nothing a few diesel generators won't solve.... You know, clean energy
  11. I immediately thought range Rover evoque on the rear end.
  12. I doubt it. The Explorer Platinum and KR have the same engine too. This is a Ford Performance tune which the ST is the only Ford Performance variant. There are many tuning option out there that will give you more safe performance then this tune if one wants.
  13. Ok, have to give them credit, this bed functionality is awesome!! Hopefully there won't be water leaks over time. https://www.yahoo.com/news/got-early-look-chevys-105-164308895.html
  14. Despite the majority hating it, I actually love it.
  15. One would think this should be in the Lincoln forum. Regardless, I just went to the Build and Price to build one.. Can't get the Blue with the Red interior. Every other color.. sure but Blue, nope. Ughh!!! $65,000 fully loaded.. Wow for a Corsair.
  16. No idea what this has to do with FMC but try uship.
  17. Isn't the Mach e classified as a SUV? If so, the rebate covers up to $80,000 MSRP so nobody is losing it. It's just going in Fords pocket. If it's a sedan, then it's $55k MSRP which majority of the versions still fall under.
  18. Yup, I definitely won't be looking at one any longer as my next vehicle. That's a whole lot of gas you can buy with that.
  19. This is exactly how a car company should take care of their customer. I'll give Toyota props for putting the customer first and going above and beyond.
  20. Lol, it's silly with something like this but this dealer actually doesn't charge dealer/doc fees on any vehicle sale. So yes, with an ADM, it's silly but when buying an ordinary vehicle, they don't add fees to the agreed upon purchase price.
