  1. There was a interview with Jim Farley about a year ago, were he said the Superduty lineup would go to Hydrogen power before you saw a full electric Superduty
  2. Get a quote from one of the discount warranty dealers and see if your local dealer will match. Mine has for my last 2 vehicles.
  3. I've hearing them same also, but their not realizing that the 23% with cola is about 30%. Actually had a co-worker say the 23% was a insult. So really wanted to tell him with his work ethic he was already 23% over paid. I did get word that Ford and the UAW Ford team are negotiating thru the night tonight. Hopefully Fain won't F it up again.
  4. Earnings growth is getting ate up by materials cost. I do the parts ordering for my department, seen drastic increase the last 3 months. One example is a routine part that has been $550 for last couple of years has jumped to over a $1000 for last order.
  5. Oct 11 880 units per day. Oct 18 1100 per day. Sat Oct 30. Got from very reliable source in plant.
  6. The repair areas are working 24/7 on getting the replacement tops and other parts done. Week of 10/18 plant goes back to full production capacity and has a Saturday scheduled
  7. Heard they may have found one problem with tops seperating. The CNC, that trims the panel after molding, was cutting to close to the upper and lower seam. Biggest problem still to be resolved is Webasto can't get enough workers to run plant at levels needed. Ford has sent extra people from Rawsonville and other plants to work there. They have even asked others to volunteer to work there on layoff weeks.
  8. Hearing last night Job 1 has been pushed back from 3/15 to 5/3. Been told Paint can ramp up to line pace of Final. As for body I believe that the Bronco is a separate line, so already adding 2 shifts there. Hopefully Fuzzy can confirm
  9. That's what I heard. Sounds like 2 shifts in body of Ranger team can't support 2 shifts of Final assembly. With upgrades done to Paint shop they can run 1 to 1 with Final. Just thought they would have wanted to boost Ranger inventory up with 2 shifts and be able to run Bronco heavy at launch.
  10. Correct. Plan for final next few months sounds crazy. 2 weeks of both shifts together on one shift for training, 2 weeks of 2 shifts each running 5 hrs a day. Then the shifts rotating day shift 2 weeks on 2 weeks off after that til Bronco launch.
  11. 2nd Shift training starts Nov 30. Having 2 full shifts of production won't be until Bronco. Latest I have heard is still March for that. ?‍♂️
  12. Just 2nd shift for now, with current start date of 11/9. Don't think 3rd shift will happen to after launch year max overtime rules are done. During launch year they can work as may weekends as they want. Normal year is only 6. With 2021 Bronco launch and possilbly 2022 new Ranger launch, 3rd shift possible after that if needed.
  13. Watched a youtube video that the First Edition reservation was full. I believe that was to be 3500. Around 11minute mark
  14. That is the current plan for production to resume. I got called back to start May 11. Its going to be a slow start up, a lot of changes going on.
  15. That is just an example of how the formula works. Not an actual calculation.
  16. I think they have big plans for the Mod center and not just for Bronco/Ranger. It is huge, roughly estimate would be 125,000 sqft. They are making it to be a showcase. Crews have been working for 2 months just grinding and polishing 50 year old concrete to look like a floor at Home Depot or Lowes.
  17. Ford's profit sharing cap was removed in 2015 contract.
  18. Wayne will only be used to support MAP operations. Little early to talk about third vehicle for MAP. No way of knowing how much capacity Ranger and Bronco will actually need.
  19. Yes. Ranger is a slower line speed, about a 100 units a day less. So you can take 25k a shift off that. My opinion is mostly based off a interview with Joe Hindrichs saying Ford could sell 120K Rangers a year without effecting F150 sales. Ford is not going chase a sales crown with the Ranger if any chance of hurting F series sales. Right now Ranger prices are probably help F150 sales. People coming in for Ranger and being sold F150 ounce they see small price difference with available incentives.
  20. It's possible, with Ranger and Bronco coming out of one plant, even on a 3 crew schedule, I think unlikely. Taco has 2 plants able to produce. If Bronco is a success I think it will get priority over Ranger. If Ford gets 100-120k a year in Ranger sales they will be more than happy. I would be happy to be wrong though.
  21. WAP general stores is still used somewhat for storage of large items. It will now become one, MAP general stores is coming to WAP. With all the overhead conveyors at MAP they just don't have enough room for the needed stock for both Ranger and Bronco.
