  1. So are we getting "on average" about $8300.00???
  2. Definition of Exclude: to leave out (something) : to not include (something)
  3. I thank you for your explanation. I have read the language over and over again, and your explanation over and over again. I still can not understand how you are bringing Europe into the equation? Our profit sharing is based SOLELY on North American profits, and it EXCLUDES special charges. littlecountry, I will enjoy the money, I just thought they made this easy to calculate, and it seems that may not be the case?
  4. well, if you make approximately $28.00/hr and the union takes 2 hours of pay per month, that is $56.00 per month. A 1/3 of one percent increase would be less than 20 cents...
  5. I think that you are mistaken... Or maybe I am... You contradicted yourself in your post. First you said "Too bad the reps who thought of this "ingenious" profit sharing program didn't think to exclude the special items". Then you said "Page 86 of Volume III (SUB/Profit Share agreement) specifically states they exclude special items from FNA EBIT". The key word in each statement is EXCLUDE. So the company does exclude special items when calculating our profit share, and the reps DID bargain to have special items excluded. Our profit sharing is only calculated from North American profits, pre-tax, Excluding special charges. So to get a ballpark figure of your profit sharing, you will get $100.00 per million in reported profit, or $1000.00 per billion in profit. It appears that Ford of Europe has no bearing on US profit sharing. If I am getting this wrong, please explain.
  6. Thanks for all the info... I took the skilled trades buy-down. I am now back on the assembly line making more money than on trades (but working much harder). The buydown really helped out, and I am in a great position now.
  7. Does anyone know how long it takes from the time you sign up for a buyout / buydown, until you recieve the payment?
  8. This money has long been spent... They have reported it several times as new, but it is gone... You wont see anything new until the next contract. I am a tradesmen laid off due to lack of work.
  9. Does anyone know why the signing bonus paystub, payable on this Friday, is not showing up on the paystub website? My normal paystub is on there.... payable Friday.... Anyone else having this issue?
  10. I wont sign, purely because of grammar errors.
  11. Where does a person sit, if a strike is called while they are laid off? Do you picket? Do you still receive sub-pay? Hoped to never have to worry about such a thing....
  12. It depends if you are on ILO or TLO. Indefinite = No bonus Temporary = Bonus!!!
  13. Just want to point out that GM and Chrysler both went bankrupt, took bailout money, pissed off a lot of Americans, and some how they are still making billions. I don't think public perception of employees is as important as some people think. I believe that most people choose cars by looks, price, and quality.
