Its been 5 but they are working 2 separate departments between 3 lines . This upcoming week is supposed to be 4 .

Very limited afternoon, 2 lines in production, a few in radiator a handful of presses . SRP is in a worse off state than Saline . Saline has and is getting new buisness where as SRP is not .

Ill tell you all right now. The jobs at SRP suck. Its not like it used to be . All the temps do whatever they are told , unquestioningly . That has screwed up the job standards pretty good. If you should get a decent job then you have to deal with the Foreman. Most foreman and management are complete assholes . They will mess with you any way they can . If you get in with good seniority you will have dibs on a few good jobs. Cycle checkers , Hilo , maybe a few others . But if you are stuck in production on a line . I just cant take it any more myself . I am hearing good things about Saline as far as good jobs. Unless you hate your job now, dont plan on it getting better at SRP . I wish you all luck .

Ford is being pigheaded and trying unsuccesfully to get people to take less to go . This article states GM is ponying up to give people who took less buyout money before . Does anyone think Ford would ever do something like this ?

They have been extended to June 26th. Same packages .

I too finally decided to take the plunge and take the 100 thousand step Buyout . Now they reduce it and give us this modified contract Bullshit . Ticks me off .

I sure hope they get some concessions from their workers. Thats all they need right ?

Some would call it common sense. But maybe you need help with that . Lets see , we are in talks to give wage concessions to be competitive with the foreign automakers . Yet the foreign automakers who have less labor costs than Ford also need aid . They need aid ahead of Ford who hasnt asked for any government money . So kind of makes the asking for concessions to be competitive arguement Nil . That easy enough for you ?

If this isnt the evidence we all need to vote down these damn concessions i dont know what it will take .

It was repealed in 1999. So now 9 years later it is still his fault ? That sounds like spin if i ever heard it . If it was so bad to have repealed it why wasnt it re-enacted ?

Its sad if you believe she has more so called executive experience. She was a mayor of a small town. Now a governor of a small state located far away from the rest of the country .

Thank you . Im not trying to be right . It shouldnt be about who is right or who is wrong . I want people to open their minds, think for themselves . Not one person in this entire world thinks the EXACT same as any other. You know what , thats ok . We can have our differences and want the same thing . It should be about who you think can do the best job as our next leader . Dont just believe what you are told or what you hear about so and so . Find out the facts first .
