  1. LOL. Union representation in Romeo, left much to be desired. Surprised Lenny or his nemisis Al Cosia didn't throw their hats in the ring. Newsome still tryin' to get out of work eh? Did he really think he had a chance?
  2. Candela gone? Always thought he would die in that cubby hole.
  3. May/June Local 400 newspaper says 38 people have retired from Romeo, including some union "wheels"! Whats coming down the road over there? Thats an awful lot of people making an exit.
  4. Sounds like poor planning on yhe O/Ps part. Those kids oughta be raised and gone. Most possessions bought and paid for by 20 years.. I put myself in "retirement mode" with 20 years seniority. Was just a matter of wrapping up loose ends so when the BIG 3-0 came, I was ready to GO! People are amazing. When the big day came, I was going around saying goodbyes. One guy who hired in the same day as I, said he couldn't retire. He just bought a new house. I was like WTF dude, you should have bought that house 15-20 years ago! About 5 years after I retired the guy died, A guy needs time to unwind, before he meets his maker. Retire and enjoy whats left of your life. Its later than you think.
  5. Unbelieveable. Thats okay. I'll be hawking FORDs to everyone of those "satisfied" Chevy owners.
  6. Nice to see that the UNION HATERS are alive and well. What a bunch of dumb azzes!
  7. Best wishes to Ms. Giffords for full recovry!
  8. I call BS on Trumps search for the truth about Obamas heritage. He has the funds to get the best Private Investigator money can by. We would have known the truth by now. If the birther issue was that a big deal, Obama would be gone by now. If he doesn't want to provide a document, throw he azz out, Simple as that.
  9. No matter what we think,, pro or con, this is about Unionism in general. They lose their bargaining rites, we will eventually lose (ever more so than now) our bargaining rites. Don't think that the corporations aren't watching Wisconsion real close. If the government gets away with it, the corporations will be next. If the unions are broken, who is the government / corporations gonna blame for their short comings? They're backing themselves into a corner. We ALL (public/ private sector) need our Unions for seniority rites as well as health and safety issues. Wisconsin is ALL about breaking Unions, nothing more, nothing less. We could be next! God Bless ALL union workers!
  10. I hope we don't end up taking a beating like GM employees did.
  11. Maybe so, but we employees deserve a little credit too!
  12. And yet the public complains about overpaid / underworked autoworkers. Had a dealer rep tell me once that at 20 bucks an hour (or less in some cases} that I'm overpaid. I said "compared to who, the dealer that gets 80 bucks an hour for repairs?" Now I'm an overpaid, underworked, smartass autoworker. I'm steppin' up!
