    The back is pretty good. The side is derivative- it looks like a generic mid priced luxury car. (The same thing that is the Lincoln MkS's problem.) But the front... Yikes! Do not let the guy who created the front (more like pulled it out of his ass) ever style anything again!

    I saw the Focus too while I was getting service on my car. In a word...Stunning! It was the hatchback in red. I didn't like it so much in the pictures, but in person it was great. This is the first small car I would want as opposed to buying it because I had too because I couldn't afford anything else. I will consider this if my Mustang wears out it's welcome.

    I know what you mean. 4 years ago I signed up for motortrend for I year and they still send them. C&D took 5 years(!) to figurre out I'm not paying them anymore!

    He's trying to make a point that Porsche should be more rare especially at a 100,000 dollar price point than a Lincoln because it is tougher to sell a car that pricey. But, the other shoe that drops is that there are far fewer car makers selling cars in that price point. It should be Mercedes, BMW, and Lexus (direct competition) that should be embarrassed by that, not Lincoln.

    I was cringing at the thought of opening this thread and having by retinas scarred by some goofy French blob...but WOW! I love that car! It does remind me of a squashed Taurus.

    I always hated that all hood and trunk and small middle look of a lot of old cars. This just takes it one step too far.

    But of all those, only the mid size RR, Hybrid, and Jag sports car sound like they have a chance to be a hit in the market. Evoque, (because it's a 2 dr), R rolls Royce Range Rover, and baby Jag (they did try this with the X type) look like they will fail. (of course I'm no automotive CEO, so who knows?)

    Well said. All of JLR's sucuess is due to Ford's efforts, and Ford still chose to get rid of them despite knowing the current round of product is coming out. This is a sign of Ford's confidence in this company. I don't think Tata will continue to have it flourish when the current product's shelf life is over and new product is needed.

    I'm a 2005 4.0 driver too. I like my car. Everybody knows the auto mags will call the 3.7 a boat anchor too in a few years. And everybody on the message boards will repeat it all the time.

    Oh wow! $89,000- a great deal on a fwd Mercury Cougar with 112k miles that looks like a Bugatti with a bad body panel fit! Is the salesman's name P.T. Barnum?

    Henry SR. was one of the founders of Cadillac, but we don't want that in a Ford video either.
