The Pat you talk about, no longer exists! I for one backed him in the last election going solely on what I heard about him from OTP people. Boy was I sucked in! I've seen this guy in action (or should I say in-action). He is rarely in the office let alone the plant, will not answer phone calls and is totally out to lunch with what is really happening on the floor! Just ask any leader or one of the good union rep's what they think about good ole company boy, glad hander, lip service, Pat! That guy will be gone next time for sure and the sooner the better!

10 Hr's A shift. It seems there was a problem with the power packs on the U's (vendor issue) but they started to get some good stock trickle in and by the end of the night we were running full tilt.

Talked to the union today, both shifts will be working short hours (around 4) when we come back after shut down and PP 34 and 35 will be black out weeks as well as the 23rd. That would be T4E slip not T43.

Ya, Isn't that something! We heard that some labour relations reps came into the body shop on night shift for the express purpose of catching people sleeping. The story going around is that they caught 4 guys having a nap and suspended them for 3 days. After doing their duty of suspending these guys, the reps went home to get some well deserved sleep and rest up to do the paper work the next day! But I guess Colin was right, they were just looking out for their best interests! After all, if you are not bright eyed and busy tailed doing you job you might get hurt!! A..HOLES!!

Any news on more blackout weeks?
