  1. Yes, that is correct. And the vehicle will get scheduled per the dealers allocation. Once it gets scheduled, it gets its VIN, and because it's a F150 & we have two F150 plants, it will be assigned the plant that it will be built in. Right now, the order does not show where it is to be built.
  2. It won't show where it's being built until it gets a VIN.
  3. Info is from Ford's Vehicle Visibility page. If you are T&D, then I think I known who you are based on your user ID.
  4. Need to drop the "C" in the Dealer Code, and put a "F" in front of the number. It hasn't been scheduled yet. "In Order Processing - Unscheduled - Material Hold"
  5. One needs to read the white pages regarding legacy production workers at Woodhaven. They are considered surplus, and they plan to push them all out to other plants.
  6. Some trades have also gone to Livonia Trans, Woodhaven Forge, Brownstown Parts, and R&E.
  7. Woodhaven Stamping is still running. KCAP is still making the steel F-150, so we are still supplying them. We also stamp parts for the Focus, Super Duty and Expedition/Navigator. Besides getting work from WHSP (some which was ours to begin with), BSP and CSP has sent some jobs to us. Some of this work from BSP and CSP is short term; balance out, press issues at their plant, etc. When KCAP stops making the steel F-150, Woodhaven's manpower will shrink. Many Woodhaven people are waiting to move on to Dearborn (DSP, DDMP, DTP), or are already there. Some people have already gone to FRAP, while others are waiting to go to MAP. As far as Woodhaven Stamping closing, no one will know until after the September 2015 contract.
  8. We've had several hourly Canadians working at WSP in the past. We currently have a salaried person who lives in Canada working at our plant.
  9. Other than a new outer for the Navigator, we have no new work coming. Besides the F150 work, we also stamp many parts for the Mustang, Focus/Escape/C-Max, and Expedition/Navigator. There has been talk of the Focus work going to MAP. Also, I think the Expedition/Navigator gets a redo in MY 17. If that happens, I'm sure they will move the jobs that we do now down to KTP.
  10. The Mustang parts have all be assigned, with Flat Rock stamping most of them, and other Ford plants stamping the rest. Flat Rock will also stamp Fusion parts. Not sure about the next Taurus/MKZ , but I'd bet Chicago would keep stamping them.
  11. We really don't know what is going to happen here at WSP, but I'm sure we will find out after the next contract. I don't see it staying open on a smaller scale, it makes no sense financially with a building this size. As far as Dearborn Stamping doing all the F150 work, that is incorrect. Besides DSP stamping parts, Buffalo Stamping, Michigan Stamping, Chicago Stamping, and DDMP will be making parts for the F150.
  12. As of today's update: In Order Processing - Scheduled to Day (Oct-01-2012) - Ford Michigan Assembly Plant, MI - Sep-14-2012
  13. Look on page 197C of the National Agreement, under "Skilled Trades Competitiveness". I expect the company to use less trades, doing more work. These "Teams" are coming at every plant very soon! And not just for trades, production too!
