I thought they canceled the Z28 last summer?
What was it going to have, anyway, the Z06 engine? (I can't keep all the Chevy alphanumeric engine designations straight--LS3, LS6, LS7, LSD?)
Not only that, but the Mustang styling pulls something from every generation of the car (not as much with the 2010 model as with the 2005-2009 models). The Challenger is a copy of a 1970 model (of course the original Challenger only had one generation--the '80s Mitsubishi thing doesn't count). The Camaro is an origami version of a 1969 Camaro. Chevy ignored all other iterations of the car.
Overall I think the Mustang design is better integrated as well. And if you don't like the taillights on the new Mustang, just look at the butt of the new Camaro.
That is a highly exaggerated, unproducible Mustang concept sketch.
But it looks like it has some of the features (such as "hips") that we've been hearing about for the 2010 model. The front looks scarily like a Camaro there.
On top of all that, signing on to a message board and imploring corporate executives to offer you a rebate is pointless.
Do you really think Mulally is gonna look at this, make a phone call, and say, "Give that boy a rebate?"
