  1. I'm just a fan of Ford Trucks, I don't know the in's and out's of all the labor contracts, asking for help comprehending how it works. Please help me understand why it has to be Mexico? Why can't Ford just produce in the 'right to work' southern states like all the Asian manufacturers that seem to doing just fine? It really looks bad when Toyota, Honda and Hyundai/Kia can produce in the 'USA' but all of our home teams are in Mexico. Why can't Ford go to TX or Mississippi or Alabama or and other of the many places? It seems absurd to me that a company like Ford has to be unionized in the USA but can go to Mexico and not be. That's a 100% recipe to suck jobs from the USA. Who came up with that bad idea?
  2. Now reliance on China controls our Automotive Industry. What can possibly go wrong with that?
  3. EV in real life -so not ready for prime time. I would be really nervous if I were in the RV business. There is full frontal assault coming for that industry. 90 miles pulling 6k lbs., who on earth is going to consider that normal truck duty? Drive to your destination away from it all in the national forest, then wonder how you're going to recharge while setting up camp. https://insideevs.com/news/594871/ford-f150-lightning-vs-gas-truck-towing-range-single-charge/
  4. 2022 F-150 Lariat Order Number: M904 VIN: 1FTFW1E88NFA28498 Thank you for what you do.
  5. And where is Subaru? The darling green automobile of 'woke' Boulder Colorado environmentalists - seriously doubt they'll all be trading in their Outbacks for a Ford now. Time will tell on this move by Ford, but I think they could have played it smarter. Looking to future is great, but you don't have to kick your long time traditional customers to the curb. .
  6. Not sure what Ford has to gain from a business point of view by "signing on", rather than just quietly behind the scenes keep strong EV development and solid choices on both sides for customers moving forward. Seems like some kind of 'Virtue Signal' to me. A company known for reliable hard working trucks should keep options open for the customers that will still need/want certain trucks in the future. Bit unnerving that the two 800lb gorillas Toyota and VW have not 'signed', but appear to be doing just what I suggested above.
  7. Sorry if this was discussed somewhere in the topic...I searched but did not see anything current as of October 2021. 2021 F150 SuperCrew Lariat 4x4 Ordered 3 weeks ago- What can be realistically expected for approximate delivery in the current state of production? (asking for a friend) Thanks!
  8. Missing one small detail in the Rivian fine print: 'up to' 40% range penalty for towing. In the world I live in, when someone in marketing says 'up to' that is the number.
  9. Like what is happening with Ranger here - I think the younger buyer likes the unique colors. Did I hear someone say "like a Flairside"? My pre-kiddo truck -
  10. Comments like this from anit-Ford member rperez are really just negative and totally meaningless. Just proves you can't do simple math. 1.47 and 1.62 problems per vehicle - netting to .15, is a statistical tie. Really the top 25 rankings are so close - what customer would even notice 1.28 problems to 1.93 problems per vehicle? This study only shows that any customer of any new vehicle can expect to experience 1-2 'problems' with their new purchase to be covered under warranty. Trying to spin this as a Ford problem is ridiculous. Roads were I live are filled with brands from the bottom half of this chart- and the folks love their cars.
  11. 1.47 problems per vehicle to 1.62 problems per nets to .15 problems per vehicle which rounds to ZERO. That's not a bottom kicking - that is a virtual TIE.
  12. On a Ford note; from the news pictures, it looks like the US Taxpayers outfitted the Afgan Army with some really nice Ford Ranger tactical trucks, only to be abandoned and left now in the hands of the Taliban to use against our efforts. Oh how I hate to see that Blue Oval logo being used against American operations.
  13. Nothing makes any sense. Absolutely NOTHING! Pentagon under under current administration totally botches a withdrawal. How can it not be SOP to destroy or evacuate equipment? How can it not be SOP to get civilians out before troops? WHY ARE THE EVACUEES ONLY 5% American and the rest Afgan nationals? Special fighting forces begging to be sent in to help only to be silenced by the military and big tech. Gov't warns Americans to go home and shelter in place, then 12 hours later a bombing - like they are inside with enemy on what is going to happen next? - WTF??? A certain world leader fumbling over words at the White House WNBA celebration all but actually saying the VP will be POTUS soon. Government forcing gene therapy on people that are NOT sick, or have been sick and recovered. A certain person second in command telling people to buy Christmas presents now - what on earth are they planning in the way of tyranny in the next 90 days? Aussies already under Martial Law - Martial Law is crime against humanity! In a free country like Australia!! Food shortages, chip shortages, TP again next - NOTHING MAKES ANY SENSE!!!
  14. PM me your e-mail and I will send
  15. Changing the subject a bit here. I feel like I am having this exact conversation when speaking with those that support mandatory masks and vaccine passports.
  16. Toyota fan boys will love it, and The Truck Formerly Know as Dodge fan boys will be all riled up at someone challenging their 'bad-ass' perception . Ford and Chevy guys will just go about their business and not even notice this brutally hideous frankentruck.
  17. Congratulations to all MAP workers. You're the very heart for the return of the iconic Ford Bronco. Thank you, and sincerely wishing great success to all!
  18. Fuzzy -They're still requiring you to wear a mask at the office? Gosh - just let people get back to work already!
  19. Glad you mentioned this - as I was thinking future stats should show this to be true. Doesn't change the fact that there is ticking time bomb heath crisis in our population. If it wasn't Covid it would be the next thing. Fuzzy mentioned on the previous page - why is 'poor heath' this not the primary narrative? It is all about politicizing and 'blaming' Trump.
  20. Here is an important question - please help me understand: Anyone in pharma research will tell you that trials go 5+ years for a good reason. 58% of drugs fail Phase III which is usually 3-5 years (long term issues) in the process. The mRNA Therapy shot (aka vaccine) is engineered to change your body to 'manufacture' the dreaded 'spike protein', thereby provoking an 'immune' response. There is no noted mechanism to turn this off once the CCP WuFlu is no longer a pandemic threat. AND that leads to the big question: If the mRNA therapy (aka vaccine) is non-FDA approved (only 'emergency' authorized') and the manufacturers have been granted full release of liability, and your immune system turns hyper active after 3-5years because your body is constantly making the spike protein leading to possibly serious auto-immune problems, CAN YOUR INSURANCE deny payment for medical treatment due to a non-FDA approved procedure? Would anyone ever consume a product, any product, where the manufacturer had ZERO liability for something that could go wrong?
  21. You will never convince me that 400,00 perfectly healthy people died from CCP Wuflu If there are other conditions as reported by CDC in 94% of deaths, then other conditions contributed to the deaths that is a simple 'fact' as you would say. OR, it could be stated that if 50-100 million Americans were NOT immune suppressed (medications) or immune deficient (nutrition and exercise) there would have been far less death - plausibly the 80K number you mentioned. This is a SERIOUS wake up call to a vastly un-healthy population. This was a ticking bomb. Average age of death among CCP WuFlu - approx 78-81 years of age. Current projected average lifespan in the USA: 78.9 years of age.
  22. 5.5% of reported deaths were covid-19 ONLY 500,000 reported Deaths are; among covid-19, but somehow the general public hears that as: deaths from covid-19. The media and public health officials purposely do not make an effort to clarify this gross miss-understanding of the reported data in order to maintain the fear level and greater control over the people. From the CDC Website: During 2020, approximately 375,000 U.S. deaths were attributed to COVID-19. Among 378,048 death certificates from 2020 listing COVID-19, 5.5% listed COVID-19 without codes for any other conditions. Among 357,133 death certificates with at least one other condition, 97% had a co-occurring diagnosis of a plausible chain-of-event condition (e.g., pneumonia or respiratory failure), or a significant contributing condition (e.g., hypertension or diabetes), or both. https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/70/wr/mm7014e2.htm?s_cid=mm7014e2_x Some areas are reporting ZERO deaths from seasonal flu this year - that is statistically impossible!
  23. Help me understand why The Truck Formerly Known as Dodge, Chevy, and Toyota Tundra can build all the trucks that they can sell, but somehow Ford is in a global supply crisis.
