  1. Ed Hay and Chris Kimmons will stay as long as they can spend Local 919 union dues and collect a pay check from Ford. They are not doing anyone any favors just putting there hands in the union cookie jar. Why wouldn't they stay on the payroll to steal supplies, equipment and computers from the union hall and plant. Kimmons and Hay organized the workers at TDS/US and Johnson Controls pay union dues to Local 919 and we all see how the union made there jobs secure. "At its peak, he said, it had 2,900 members. That's down to about 1,400, who work at Ford or suppliers such as TDS/US and Johnson Controls Inc.. All will close by summer's end."
  2. Newspaper Quote: Sawyer, 46, said, "and this place here doesn't have pride. I want to go in every day, like I did in Norfolk, and have a great day." Ford will do pay whatever it takes to get rid of the Norfolk UAW workers. Instead of being grateful for a job they just cry. No matter what anyone says Norfolk is shutting down because of the lousy workers and the lousy union.
  3. TPTs and 89 day workers pay union dues so they have a right to vote. The union officials will lie to all workers to get votes to go the UAW way.
  4. Norfolk Ford Worker struggles with change 700 miles from his family, one Ford worker struggles with change The Virginian-Pilot © April 8, 2007 DEARBORN, Mich. - He spread an ample supply of spinach leaves on his plate, chopped a chicken breast into strips, sauteed them in his grandmother's cast-iron skillet, and added a few mushrooms and onion slivers.

  6. I think he is in Vegas or Florida with Norfolk Local 919 President Kris Kimmons and chairman ed Hay negotiating for the workers. This is where Ford should cut there losses.
  7. Information from "Linda" is as reliable as information from the union hall.
  8. Union dues were deducted from the last 2 sub checks.
  9. If you got the plant managers letter in august this letter said the same thing.
  10. I agree. It is a new day and the UAW will get a percentage of all future buyouts.
  11. The information will not be good for union members. The union wants the information released through the media while workers are laid off because the fear the workers will walk off the line and storm the union halls. The workers at plants that are scheduled to close are going to be deeply disappointed with the UAW.
  12. The UAW will never stop being a corrupt organization? Why bother, quit the UAW. It is no wonder the UAW cannot organize at Toyota.
