  1. My 11 LX Came from the northern states and the wheels were a little pitted, so I had them refinished locally. Look brand new when they were done. All 03+ Wheels should fit your vic. 98-02 will fit but will stick out and look goofy.
  2. Anyone know why the 2013 Fusion is stop ship status right now?
  3. Thank you very much kind sir for this invaluable service for those of us that like to stalk our cars from start to finish.
  4. Hello, looking for a status. Last I heard from dealer on 3-18, truck was "Re-Released" but nothing since. Wondering if any updates please? 2011 F150 Supercrew FX4 Ecoboost VIN: 1FTFW1ET2BFB02174 Dealer Code: 52A 241 (used to be 52F 241) Order # 52-0147 Thank you in advance!
  5. I rent cars quite often for work, usually from Budget and Hertz. I have been getting the last few '11 Grand Marquis when I get into a "Premium" car, but now, I'm seeing the supply of those dwindling. Today, a client came to my office, driving a Dark red 2011 CV from Hertz. Car has column shift, LX Sport 17" wheels, Single Exhaust, black rear fascia with chrome trim under the tail lights and the rear fascia, and a flex fuel badge on it. So this has promise that maybe some used 2011 Vics are going to show up on used car lots in the next 12 months, unless they all get shipped to the UAE.,....
  6. 2010 SHO Checking in here. I'm getting 18.5-19 with 90% city, stop and go Commuting. Last tank had half highway driving (faster than I should), and I got 20.8. I'm sure if I calmed down I'd get more, but the SHO is too much fun to drive.
  7. Has anyone heard about a stop shipment of the 2010 Taurus SHO from CAP?
  8. Heres the alignment issue. This is looking on the passenger side between the front and rear doors.
  9. Thanks on both! I suck a photography generally. That pic was actually taken with a point and shoot 4 MP Sony thats about 10 years old. HAHA! BTW, I love your Flex on 22s. Just like a 03 Marauder with 11,000 miles on it? I try to split my miles between the F250 and the SHO so far, but the SHO is so much nicer and easier to drive. Something to be said about the brawn and ability to push your way in with the truck though. Ah cool. What do you need done? I have never used Tommie Vaughn's Service department and probably will not. My boss has used them and while they did a good job, I thought it was very expensive. (I guess since I do most everything myself). I haven't found a good service department in the Houston area that I trust. Definitely dont take it to West Point. All 20" SHO Rims are identical, its only the tires that are different.
  10. Coming from someone who has driven super duties and currently has a SD and a SHO, you're right, but Ford still builds the finest Heavy Duty pickup. I had to order my SHO because all the ones that were on lots were hard loaded. I dont want a sunroof, fancy stereo, massaging seats, radar cruise, BLIS, etc. Even the 401 equipped cars that were on dealer lots were loaded with other junk, Nav and all that other stuff. Tommie Vaughn had a 401A with 12S but then it had additional options that pushed the sticker to 43,000 bucks. The 'stripped' SHOs out there didnt' have the Perf Pkg. So I ended up ordering a 400B with Perf Pkg with just the performance pack. Not like its really 'stripped'. Base has Leather/Miko Suede, Rear view camera, push button start, ambient lighting, 6 disc, SYNC, HID, Autolamp, all power, etc. Has everything I want and nothing I dont. Even the base premium stereo sounds very good.
  11. Good observation! They're probably the straightest shooters in town! I used to deal with Texan Ford until they became part of Auto Nation. Are you in Houston too? Goodyears are not runflat. You're right about the 'mobility kit' which has a can of fix a 'sealer' and a compressor. I have a 18" rim from a 2009 Taurus (same bolt pattern and backspacing) that will clear the brakes. I will put a tire on it and keep it with me when I go out of town in case I have a flat. I have no overhead console. Just a little panel where the dome switches are. My car is also the 'stripped' SHO (400B), the only option I have is the 12S Perf Pkg. Oh well. Thank you very much! I hope to keep her that way too!
  12. Hmmm interesting. FWIW, every Taurus SHO on the lot when I picked mine up had 20s but no Perf pkg.
  13. Then why would the Non Performance Pack SHO with the freestanding 20" Rims have it? The overall diameter isnt much more than the standard 19" SHO Rim.
  14. We're on the same page. I actually was going to ask the sales manager to swap rims with me on a non performance package SHO with the 20" Rims (Michelin Primacy MXV4), but I think I would be pretty unhappy with the Primacy MXV4 handling, though they will probably last much longer. Goodyear quality is very inconsistent. I see hits and misses all the time. The Eagle F1 Supercars handle great but all the feedback I have read, I know they'll get awful as time goes on. Choices are limited in the 245/45R20 flavor, (Kumho ASX, Pirelli PZero, Hankook Ventus, Michelin MXV4, Goodyear Eagle RSA, etc) but I've had good experiences with the General Exclaim UHP on several vehicles, so I may give those a whirl when the Supercars wear out. FWIW, the 19" Taurus tires are Eagle RS-As (blech), 18" get Michelin MXM4 or Goodyear Assurance TripleTred. Also, does anyone know, why no spare tire on the Performance Package SHOs? Non Perf Pkg 20" Rim SHOs get a spare....
