  1. ''Hmmmm - that front end looks vaguely familiar to me . . . '' Yeah it looks like a Lincoln, not a Hyundai or Toyota at least. And boo hoo to the one expecting the LS to last forever. More like LoSer or L-edSel. It looked like a generic Mitsubishi Galant/Lancer, or God forbid, Hyundai XG. Also, the cramped interior didn't help. "[they should] won't stick with the SN195" Maybe they should just bring back the Granada platform and try to make a new Lincoln Versailles from that?
  2. There is less front overhang, and the wheels are pushed out more. Also, the greenhouse is smaller. The Challenger is not for those who want trendy looking, 'in one year out the next', cars. Mint original Mopar E bodies go for 6-7 figures. Think any trendy FWD coupes will ever see high resale prices in the future? What's annoying is people who think anything "looking old" simply must be 'bad', and all new cars have to look like a comic book car.
  3. While some may like its proportions, the mid size market is growing to near 'full size' now. Not really a good thing, but the buyers demand it.
  4. Those Kias have 'great' resale value don't they? I'll get a Chevy Cavalier before any Kia.
  5. Problem with the Focus was that it is "out of style", and buyers have moved on. Time to re-tool and get an all new Focus on the street. Most compact buyers [and I mean the general public, not the sport compact kids] don't care about 'driving dynamics' and want value, style, and features. A 7 year old Focus [it's 2006 kids] isn't going to cut it anymore, no matter how many 'enthusiasts' like it
  6. Well, when will it come out? Some F body fans are mad since it isn't a continuation of the 1993-02 car, but then where were they when sales were needed? It is certainly better to see this and the Challenger, then a Honda Civic Si clone or a trendy looking Probe/Reatta/FWDCougar...
  7. "It's like the Challenger went total retro rip-off," When Dodge sells the Challenger, it will do way better than any trendy teenage toy car. I bet there will be more crowds aroud it then some of the hideous 'futuristic' paper mache HS art projects that are shown every year. So many of the trendy FWD 'modern' coupes of the past 15 years are long forgotten in junk yards, like old Reattas, Fieros, Celicas or Probes.
