ok, just got a copy of the invoice for my ST. Tech package, moonroof, track pack, roof cross bars, mud flaps.. it is 4,606lbs. So it is about 260lbs heavier than the base weight.
Ah the good 'ol GM spin machine. No, don't make a competent product that doesn't scream of blatant cost cutting, just half ass it and run constant attack ads against your competition
for being "new" GM, they sure let old habits die hard
jcartwright sir, as bbf2530 mentioned Meguiar's, Mother's, and Griot's are all good choices.
Another option is Adam's Polishes Fine Grade Clay Bars. 2 100g bars for $17. https://adamspolishes.com/shop/exterior/adam-s-fine-grade-clay-bar.html
Ford's research department is asleep at the switch given the apparent fact that no one opens a hood anymore. Why don't they take advantage of this? There's no need to waste money on prop rods, hinges, and releases. Just weld it shut. This would be package 400A (standard). On the slim chance a buyer would want to gain access to the engine make him/her pay for it. The 410A package would include a working hood with a prop rod for $1250. Those foolish enough to want the dangerous and failure prone gas charged struts would have to fork out $1500 for the 420A package. This of course would enable Ford to make more progress towards its 8% return target.
