  1. Well for you guys who miss the old days I ran across this LTS 9000 today dropping a JD loader off at a job site. Had to stop and compliment driver. Owners son and they have had this 350HP 3406 since new-so didn't get date but well over 20 years old. Over 300,000 and he said clutch just starting to slip a little. These guys also have a 400 acre farm in addition to excavation business. In addition to loader their 550 dozer was at site as well as a 315 Cat Excavator. Good conversation with a guy who had a lot of pride in his equipment. And with good reason

  4. It’s all about the money. I’m not a conspiracy theorists but I understand where the ideas come from. Situations like these, money changes hands and all is forgiven.

  7. I think it's only administration fees. I don't talk to him, he's one of those people who can't help but to be completely full of shit and thinks he's the smartest person in the room and will never help out anyone, even if it makes his job easier. Perfect example. With the shift reduction going on he would rather apply to go work as a TSA agent.

  8. Yeah, they are changing emphasis from selling MPVs to more utilities and improving their cars as well, Mondeo gets the 8-speed auto that Fusion misses out on (a clue?)

  11. To me it's not really a question of whether or not they want to right now, it's whether or not they need to, and right now they don't. The primary focus is and should be getting things running and bringing in more of what we need to keep running, like parts racks and body skids. If somehere down the line they need to speed the line up and build more I really don't see a reason why they can't. We'll see what happens when the paint shop gets it's overdue upgrades and the Bronco comes in.

  12. Yeah, the longer hood. The lower stance appearance. Fairly straight belt-line. Almost bordering on wagon like the the European models are following. That's what the Escape is slant towards. The last kick up in the belt-line of the Escape is the only thing that doesn't follow the Euro models. Just look at VW/Audi as well. Same over all shape.

  13. I like it, and whenever there's new style of car/truck, there always some dislike. Then, later on, some will say "I'm used to it". The '79 LTD went through this, and many other restyles.
