After a little over a month of ownership, I really can't find any major faults with the truck. It really is the perfect size and it very well built (especially for being one of the first built!)

    Hello from Germany

As promised: #10127 We were able to switch to another car with a better configuration, I got it last week. New config: Mustang GT Race-Red Premium with Performance-Package 1 (European Premium Package 2-Config.), Magne Ride, black Stripes and rear wing, produced in October What a car, now 400 km on it with so much fun.

GM is making it extremely easy for Ford to prop up the Lincoln brand to new heights. Other than die-hard Cadillac fans, who in their right mind would choose an XT6 over the less-expensive and far-superior Aviator?

Ranger - there is no competition

Ranger Inventory as at 1 Match was 10,000, should be seeing more Rangers at dealers if they can get rail cars.

Even die-hard Cadillac fans won't buy an XT6. One of my friends who is a member of North Texas Region Cadillac & LaSalle Club and has owned 33 different Cadillac vehicles says the XT6 shames the Cadillac name.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the cab/chassis was pretty good (Mazda cab?) The problem I think was take a POS 6.0 Power Stroke and cut 2 cylinders off it and you still have a lemon.

Escalade has a following and loyal owner base. XT6 doesn’t.

Another "huh" (though hate to quote Motor Trend). The mediocre XT6 will start at a (slightly) higher price than the much praised Aviator. The bottom para admits with a shrug, however, "...but will buyers care? After all, the Escalade outsold the Lincoln Navigator last year by a significant margin even though we thought the Navigator was a superior vehicle." https://www.motortrend.com/news/2020-cadillac-xt6-pricing-msrp/

F-150 diesel coming to the Aviator?

China bans diesel for light passenger vehicles so that's not for China. Lincoln is sold in Middle East but gas is so cheap there (like in the US) that in general no one wants diesel. But I think we are reading too much into the whole Lincoln thing. Ford has long said Explorer is going to be part of global product portfolio and I've long predicted that diesel will be part of the engine options overseas, especially for Europe. The Aviator was previewed as a concept and officially unveiled as production vehicle few months before Explorer. So Ford powertrain engineers probably decided to do engine calibration and durability testing in a pre-prdouction Aviator instead of a camouflaged Explorer prototype. It doens't necessarily mean there will be a diesel Aviator, or one that will be for sale in the US.

    AC Problem 08 Milan 4 cyl 83k

You need a set of pressure gauges and a scan tool to accurately diagnose this. Do you have all your cabin fan speeds?

    GM Sales February 2019

I was in High school in 77 and these were the options. Needless to say the 77 F100 Ranger XLT is my favorite truck of all time. It makes the Chevy look downright homely.

Very nice looking inside and out. For their sake, I hope they increase the quality of the materials inside the cabin because all the rentals I’ve had have been pretty subpar. I have to respect Hyundai/Kia, they really went from a garbage brand to acceptable in a relatively short time period. I think that is impressive. I am surprised they’ve dumped this much money into a redesign in this market segment. Apparently they want to maintain as much as they can but certainly at a cost.

Not crazy about the rear, but overall it looks really good. I'd take that over a Camry any day.

This takes design elements from too many others, and combines them awkwardly.

I don't understand your analogy. A more appropriate analogy would've been if Porsche had made a "911 family" - labeling the Cayenne the 911SUV1, the Panamera 911sedan, the Macan 911SUV2.

    2019 B&O sound system

I ordered the B&O for my 19 (currently somewhere in the production queue) based mostly on being disappointed with stock systems in my cars in the past. My wife didn't care one way or the other, although I took a fair amount of grief when she saw a picture of the trunk of one with it ("Is that a speaker? That big?? Why do you need that??? ). Be interesting to see how it shakes out in the end.

    2019 B&O sound system

I think the new Global Focus actually puts the B&O subwoofer right in the middle of the spare wheel. I've only seen a glimpse of this but it looks like you have to move it aside when accessing the spare tire. BTW, I'm just now becoming aware of this, but regulations in Europe require many of the road-side emergency kits you see in the compartments under the trunk floor. This includes the yellow vests and road-side triangles.
