  1. Good, why should we subsidize people buying cars? If tesla can't make an affordable electric that people want to buy without stealing taxpayer money to do so... then it's time for this car to go bye bye. I have nothing against electrics, I just don't like the government running these programs, especially with our massive deficit.

  2. I wonder if Lincoln would ever consider bringing back the "Designer Series" and update to today's big fashion design houses...in the past, there were several.. Givenchy, Pucci, Cartier, Blass I would think that a modern redux of this concept and include names like.. Michael Kors, Donatella Versace, Valentino Garavani, Giorgio Armani, Coco Chanel, Ralph Lauren Thoughts??

  3. The only thing blocking the charging stalls at our local Tesla Supercharging station is snow.

  4. I’d say it’s adequate in the Edge, nothing more. As is the 2.3L in the Explorer. No problem with passing power you just have to drive it a little differently. I think it’s more that it just feels and acts differently than a NA engine so it depends on what you’re used to.

  5. I don't think they need more laws, they just need to enforce existing laws. If a business owner/employee asks you to move so a tesla dude can charge his car, and the blocker refuses, call the cops and they can charge him with trespassing. The lawbooks are too big as is, gotta start working with what we've got.

  6. Levi’s Gremlin... quick google search has left me unsure of this being the greatest or worst thing ever...

  7. The problem with designer names is finding one that truly evokes what Lincoln wants to be. Bill Blass made no sense to me. A Lincoln Mark VIII LSC with the name of the designer that clothed Barbara Bush in granny dresses was not an appropriate match. Eddie Bauer Bronco. King Ranch F150. These made sense. Hell, even the Levi's Gremlin was on point for the target.

  9. Parking at a supercharger in a non Tesla vehicle is not illegal. They are on private property. Enforcement is up to the property owner, just as it is with “employee of the month” parking. While im sure these are “rollin coal” type idiots, the spaces could be better marked. The charger itself isn’t may not make it obvious to people that the spaces are “reserved” for Teslas.

  11. You’re confusing dealer discounts with factory rebates. My F150 was $10K off MSRP but that included $6K in factory rebates paid by Ford. The actual dealer discount was only $4K. Same with your F450. Those vehicles are not in high demand and short supply like Navi. I just looked up a Navi with a $91,885 MSRP. X plan is $87,042 which puts dealer invoice right around $86,250. And there only appears to be about a $1200 rebate. F series sells almost 1M vehicles per year. Navigator is 15K per year - around 1250 per month. Whether you like those prices or not, people are paying them so Ford would be stupid to give big discounts.

  12. Nobody is denying there's been safety advancements. Just saying that at some point, you reach a point of diminishing returns.

  13. From the album: 2019 F350

Arriving on the very rear upper level of the transporter. Talk about being in a perilous location. It survived.
