Not likely to see any more real changes at this point for the next few months. They can make running changes at any time though. It's pretty rare that they make significant changes other than things marked as "late availability".

Sitting at a red light today beside a 2007 Explorer, I noticed the Explorer's circle-dash design in its taillights is perfectly mimicked by the headlight/running light design of the Maverick. Also, big thumbs up if they use LED to light the big FORD letters in the grille like the picture seems to suggest. I haven't seen anyone else do that yet.

As fuzzymoomoo stated. It depends on whether the Dealer has scheduling allocation, the Priority Code and how many other MKZ retail orders the Dealer has in their USOB (Unscheduled Order Bank). FYI... other Dealer's orders have no bearing on your Dealer's scheduling.

It depends on priority code, dealer allocation and how many orders are already in the order bank. It's hard to tell, Ford doesn't even give dealers that information.

No way is the Ford family going to abandon Lincoln. Alan Mulally wanted to kill off Lincoln and have the company concentrate only on the Ford Division but it was the Ford family and their controlling interest in the company that saved Lincoln and agreed to reinvest and rebuild the Lincoln brand. They may decide to kill off the MKZ but it's not likely before the end of the 2019 Model Year. And don't forget the potential sales in China as the Lincoln models get updated and expanded.
