  1. A Ford Everest and "Lincoln Mountaineer" would keep MAP busy if the Ranger went away.
  2. Once Netflix takes over WB, I could see them lowering that cost and tie it into a co-promotion with Ford for the Bullitt movie "now streaming on Netflix".
  3. It wouldn't have to sell in huge numbers to be profitable and people wouldn't expect huge styling changes very often either.
  4. The biggest gripe by Gladiator owners is that it can't do "truck" stuff. A Bronco Super Duty would fix that. Plus 8 lug wheels on a Bronco would be sick. The extra capacity would differentiate it from other midsize trucks and the Jeep Gladiator and help justify it's premium price. Otherwise, it would just be a Ranger with Bronco sheet metal. Weekend overlanders would go crazy for a Bronco Super Duty with a "tray". I would never buy a Ranger, but I would buy a Bronco "truck".
  5. I think a Bronco pickup should be based on the RANGER Super Duty. It would be more capable than the current Ranger and wouldn't steal sales from the F150. https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedia/img/au/en/news/2025/04/04/ford-ranger-super-duty-designed-for-work.html
  6. When/if they build a Bronco pickup, they should base it on the Australian Ranger Super Duty (Bronco SUPER DUTY) with an optional 3.0L diesel. They should also add a three row SUV based on the Expedition (Bronco MAX) with an optional 5.0L V8.
  7. With Ford Performance being replaced with Ford Racing, maybe SVT will make a return. A new Mustang SVT Cobra would be nice.
  8. My Raptor drops to around 8 mpg when towing 8000 lbs or so. That gives me about a 250 mile range. My Raptor has the 6.2L V8 with a Roush supercharger and 37" tires. If I could go 350 miles with an EREV, that would be great.
  9. I'd replace my Edge ST tomorrow with a X6 like Mustang SUV with a Coyote and 10 speed auto. Before I bought my Edge, I tried to get a Mach E, but the best deal I could find at the time was $5000 over sticker. I got the Edge for under sticker with 0% APR for 60 months. Here's a quick, cheesy AI rendering of a X6 sized Mustang SUV.
  10. I bet it will be a road legal version of the Raptor T1+ or a Raptor T1+ inspired Mustang Raptor.
  11. As an owner of a 2021 Ford Edge ST, I would love to have seen the next gen Edge based on a shortened Explorer platform with a fastback styled rear with short overhangs. There's nothing Ford currently offers or that has shown to be coming that I would replace my current Edge with. The current Explorer is too big and the Mach E is looking dated. If they come out with a 4 door Mustang with a V8, I would seriously consider one of those.
  12. I think this is the unit they are looking at using for the EREV: https://www.mahle-powertrain.com/en/experience/mahle-compact-range-extender-engine/ It can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Horizontally between frame rails in a pickup make a lot of sense.
  13. They're not moving SD production to Canada, they are just adding more capacity. Right? It would allow Ford to sell Super Duty's in Canada tariff free and export to other countries that aren't wanting to work with the US.
