  1. Some would argue the Maverick is boring but it sells...because even though it has gone up in price it's still competitive and no real competition. If there was a competitive product-and slightly more appealing to the eye, what would happen?
  2. Other than the luxury makes-this is true for just about everyone.
  3. Nissan will be merged in to one of the to one of the other Japanese Auto makers. The Japanese government will not allow them to "fail". Mazda is going in the same direction-JMHO. Having experience with German manufacturers-good luck suggesting anything to improve matters.
  4. A bad infotainment system spans many vehicles. My wife has a Volvo-I have a Silverado. Both infotainment systems are wonky and plagued with software issues. The last OTA software update Volvo pushed wouldn't load to my wife's car. Had it installed at the dealer and was told even they had to make multiple attempts to get it to load. It's done now.
  5. Mazda-Absolutely loved on various automotive forums....but nobody buys.....
  6. It could be driven in some parts of Europe. But on some city roads the Maverick would still be too big.
  7. The Colorado has been eating away at market share...slowly for the Tacoma.
  8. BTW-with that being said-whatever the differences may or may not be-widespread issues are not being reported.
  9. There is a current "ask me anything" thread over on Reddit by a Ford Tech that says he is still getting them in even after the "fix" that took place in the 2021 model year or when ever the fix was made. BTW-whatever the differences may or may not be-there are not widespread issues reported. And since it's a CPO-powertrain goes out to 100,000 miles
  10. I purchase a slightly used 2020 F-150-still under factory warranty. Was happy to do so. After a little over a year of ownership-and experiencing the ten speed acting every which way but normal-it was traded in with 43,000 miles on a 2023 Silverado. Yes-the ten speeds are "cousins" but the behavior could not be further apart. I loved the 3.5-but even with the supposed "fix" after August of 2021-I will never buy another Ford vehicle.
  11. https://gmauthority.com/blog/2025/01/gm-full-size-truck-sales-numbers-figures-results-2024/ GM outsells Ford...at least that's what is being reported above.
  12. Yes-but I have already read where a Pathfinder was on a buyers short list and is now reconsidering because of the financial state of the company. I was going to buy a new Kizashi Suzuki sedan several years ago. Then News reports surfaced about how they might leave the U.S. I told this to a sales manger who called me up looking to "close the deal" on one I had looked at previously. He said no way that was going to happen. No less than two weeks later the announcement was made they were leaving the U.S. Bought a Subaru-which proved later perhaps wasn't the best decision either- but that's another story.
  13. But yet I read that the Rogue is the third best selling vehicle in it's class.
  14. Nissan's biggest problem (IMHO) is it dealer network. All manufacturers have certain dealers who are known on the Internet as the "bad boys". Nissan dealers come up pretty frequently. What ever happens-who ever ends up with Nissan will not be getting a full size pickup-as everyone knows the (outdated) Titan has been discontinued.
