  1. I believe the other boxy Lincoln that was shown to the dealers several years ago was the Rivian-based Lincoln that was planned, not Bronco-based.
  2. February is usually the lowest selling month to begin with, so the sub-50 does not concern me especially considering the fire.
  3. A Lincoln dealer owner I know told me they were told the Corsair would come from China.
  4. If anyone wants to see El cheapo, take a look at the back seat of the new Honda Prelude.
  5. I think a full-size Bronco would work well. It would be a much better option than a Sequoia TRD Pro.
  6. Given the EV market, the ICE Maverick is not going anywhere. And good reusing the Escape name for the crossover.
  7. I would note the LC70 is a great seller in the Middle East and Africa as well serving the same roles in Australia...and maybe a few many terrorists. Hopefully Ford can move into the LC70's market without the latter use issue.
  8. Interesting given the flips on restarting Indian production. Maybe this is why they canceled restarting production there. This would give Ford a plant to build non-BOF vehicles since the Ranger and Everest dominate the other plant.
  9. Just noting: Ford sales were up 5.44% in Canada: https://www.fromtheroad.ford.com/ca/en/articles/2026/ford-canada-2025-sales-highlights That is a good piece of profit added to US sales.
  10. If it is option #2, that could allow the Maverick to slightly downsize in a next generation. Thus allowing it to keep its lower price.
  11. Well, we already have a F-600, so if there is a F-100, we might as well add an F-200, F-300, F-400, and F-500 while we are at it.
  12. Well I doubt they would use Escort. If we are talking about a platform-sharing sedan to the Mustang, then Falcon would be the logical choice.
  13. I can't imagine the Ranger going anywhere since we have the Bronco. The only thing I would wish is for the Ranger to move to TAP, add the Everest, and an Everest-based Lincoln. This would open up production for the Bronco in MAP with the potential to add the shelved Bronco pickup. This would allow Ford to add a competitor to the 4Runner, GX, and Gladiator all in one stroke.
  14. If it is going to be sub-$30,000, then I wonder if it would actually be smaller than the Maverick. Fiat Strada sized: I mean if you are going to expand the truck lineup, then subcompact is the only way to go since you already cover compact, mid-size, full size, etc.
