Hi-lo Saline

I left 892 over 2 yrs ago. Have asked many times for a local 600 union card, only to be told just use your 892 card, how can I say I'm proud to be local 600, with no card to prove it with? Not to surprised I guess.

Ummmm. Freedom of speech! we don't like it ,we speak. You go ahead & quietly take up the a$$, while the rest of us speak & try to make it better. Given the last few years of movement , many of us did "NOT" vote them in, we entered in the middle of the term. It's only a matter of time, & change will come!

sadly enough, if these "REPS" were doing ,what they are elected to do, ther would be no letter or negativity. Most of these claims are true claims. If you work in either body or stamping ,you know why the letter was written. We are very poorly represented. JMO.

I read this letter in the Stamping plant. The author had balls enough to sign it as well. Worst part about is most of it really is true.

how long have you been in Dearborn, they don't give a shit what the coa or the contract says, they only care about parts & the number of them. Union? same reps take care of Stamping & body, worthless, bring your own stuff in or die in there , your choice, sad but true!!!!!!!!! there are no rules and regulations in Dearborn.

Dearborn Stamping Plant is beyond Fa - King hot, even with fans. We have body parts sweating ,we didn't know could sweat. LOL.....

every situation may be differant, but I know a few tradesmen that went back to production & transfered. So it must be possible to do.

Ive been gone for over 2 yrs. I've accepted my leaving & am greatful 2 have a spot to be at, But still unhappy with how it all played out. For many of the posters, they may have been through this , For most former Saline people , This was a first. everyones situation & dealing with it is differant as are our opionions. I would gather that anyone on ILO still, must have turned down options to go to Chicago. They still need people.

Well said,We didn't want to leave Saline, WE were coaxed into with false info &pressure from the union, that this was our best option.

It's a harsh reality, That we all knew, When we left Saline, It was permanent. Reguardless of the fact we were mis informed on the truth reguading the fall out of the sale to JCI.

Being torn down as this is posted. Big excavator tearing it down. anyone know what the plan is for this site? just wondering
