  1. Does anyone know how many speakers there are on the Sony upgrade audio option for the 2010 F150? I had the audiophile system in my 2007 and liked it. Drove a standard radio truck on the weekend and it seemed as if all the sound was in the footwells.
  2. It is a US thing from what I can see. In Canada it is only available in the Limited AWD. Of course the Limited here is missing the navigation as standard but still costs way more. I'm at $1,400 for shipping and the thing is built an hour from my home.
  3. Had to try an EcoBoost so I test drove a Flex yesterday. Very impressed. Pulled strong and would certainly fit the bill for my towing needs. Also gives me 6 passengers when/if needed. Downside is that I have to buy a Limited here in the great white north to have the engine. I was getting AWD anyway. Hoping to see some incentives come along to help with the difference. I don't want this thing to cost more than my pickup
  4. The lease on my 2007 F150 runs out in February. I was hoping to see something new under the hood but I guess that wont happen. Should I stretch things somehow to get to MY 2011 or just stay on track and get a 2010? Any thoughts?
  5. Has anyone heard any plans for EcoBoost yet? I keep finding Ford articles as recently as May 2009 saying that the F150 would have this engine in 2010. The order guide says otherwise but what are the chances it could change?
  6. No EB is going to make things tough to decide. I don't mind buying new technology but hate getting the old stuff when something better is so close.
  7. End of 2010 for 2011MY. I need it at Job 1 for 2010 or I'll be doing without for a while. If they are boasting this engine will be used across the line-up by 2013 they better hustle along.
  8. If we wait long enough even technology we haven't though of will become obsolete.
  9. The change in the Canadian dolllar has everyone north of the border doing a little comparison. Seems like the nicer the ride the bigger the difference. Sure there are some content differences. Of course the manufacturers do what they can to prevent US dealers from selling to Canadians. Then some wont honor warranties for new vehicles that cross the border. Dont even ask about stuff built in Canada and sold for less in the US.
  10. Time for Buzz to face the writing on the wall
  11. It's not just the 2010 that I am speaking of. We kept hearing about the Baby Powerstroke (that got killed off) as early as 2003. Every time the diesel seems to get pushed to the next generation.
  12. The lease on my 07 F150 will run out and have me shopping for a 2010. I'm really frustrated with the lack of progress getting these trucks to market. I'm tempted to buy whatever small diesel is available for 2010 even if it's not a Ford just to show I'm serious.
  13. Anyone have any idea about the 4.4L for the F150. I have been waiting for a light duty diesel since rumors of the "baby powerstroke" for the 2003 Expedition. Will we ever see this in our lifetimes?
