What does "not available on stock orders" mean? Does that mean dealer stock? Does that now mean no V6 is available for general dealer stock and only for a specific curtomer order?

Improvement. Now, get rid of the white-faced gauges and put black back; make the rear bumper smaller and make the tailights lower and bigger.

I think the version from April 9 looks great. I prefer 2-doors with a squared off roof. More like a 2-door sedan, not a "coupe" fastback, nor a hatchback.

Yes, along with new 2007 options like navigation, at the JOB2 date...which I understand in in Oct. Other sites like KBB.COM (kelly blue book), have some info before FORD puts it on their site.

Go to FORD.COM under Future SUVs, then Edge, and choose the Build It option on the left. Only estimated pricing but it's usually pretty close...and you can answer their survey also.

Great. Saw the car at the NY Auto show in April....really nice......the audience liked it. I rather liked the side ports though, hope they keep them. Would like to have one, but not in my price range ($40k +) .

Ford's Intelligent 4 wheel drive on the newer Escapes/Mariners... does it really work? Does anybody have any experience? Is there a way to manually turn it on? I have the AUTO position on my Explorer but the 4-wheel drive never engages as described although it's supposed to be less sensitive than the Intelligent 4 wheel. I always have to switch manually - which I prefer. This way I know it's on.
