wchain
I hear that starting Friday Nov 20, the 2010 SHO has a $600 dollar price increase on the Job 2 car. And for that 600 dollars, the backup camera is now a 'standard' item on the SHO. Anyone else know any changes on the Job 2 car? I understand some people were griping about the lack of a Redline on the tach, wasnt sure if that change was implemented or not.

It appears that the only real change, production wise, is the camera. Otherwise, it appears that Ford is changing the pricing policy on customer retail factory orders. Retail orders for years were "price protected" back to the original order date. Now it appears that retail orders will be subject to price increases although at a discounted rate. 2010_Ford_Taurus_Job__2_Pricing_Actions.pdf

Sherminator98
Did nav go down in price? This makes getting the SHO with the performance package more appealing, I don't need (wouldn't mind though) the extra do-dads that come with the 402A package, but can't get with the Performance package. I mostly wanted just the rear camera, don't need auto highbeams, rain sensing wipers, or a rear window sun screen

Thats what I thought, I know the Performance package on the 401A and a loaded out 402A where with in a $500 buck spitting distance between one another. wchain
401A is MSRP of 2000, plus 995 for the 12S = 2995, And 402A would be 3700. The doodads are nice but no 12S was a deal killer for me. Plus a miniscule savings in weight. I would actually prefer to have the Michelin Primacy MXV4s over the Eagle F1s though. JimmyL57
The car is already $10k too expensive.

I would actually prefer to have the Michelin Primacy MXV4s over the Eagle F1s though. I was thinking the same thing, I think I'm going to go the 401A package plus the Performance package now, but I really don't want tires that will only last 15K on them and drive like crap in the snow. I guess I'll have to budget out 1K with in 12 months of the car to replace the tires since I drive about 20K miles a year.
