Ford Jellymoulds
Wonder why all trucks never ended looking like this? I often wondered why car makers have never made cars that passengers are seated 4 in a row 1+1+1+1 rather than 2+2 or 2+3. VW reckon that by giving its 1-litre car an a very low plan shape aspect ratio low frontal area by sitting passengers one behind each other in rows of one the 700 MPG could be achieved which would save a lot of the earth finite resouces for future generations to consume. LINK Because sitting 1+1+1+1 would make a very loooong car that would create a problem for garages and parking spaces and narrow winding drives. The problem is that it would take a lot of work to transition to that type of setup after society has developed around 2 row cars and 3 row SUVs. Also the guy stuck way back in the ass end gets left out of all the conversation.

I sometimes find that riding my motorcycle with my wife behind me makes the trip (again..sometimes) more enjoyable. :reading: My wife even purchased a wireless headset for us to use so she can talk during the ride. We used it on two rides. I don't know why, but I seem to always forget to charge my battery before our rides. :shades: (oh, look at those cows over there... they all look the same.) (I wish we had a bigger bike so I can lean back more) (Did you see that shop back there... I want to stop and see what they have) (Wouldn't you like to ride with just you and I instead of your friends?) (I think the outfit that Mary has on today makes her look slutly... don't you?) (I think my seat has less padding then yours.. why is that?) Get my drift? :shades: Edited November 23, 2009 by mettech

It has its advantages you could have 100 lane highways Stateside, because the cars are narrow you could create new parking lanes in city centres that they never had before because four lanes becomes eight. You could also make them bendy caterpillar modules that you could added or removed sold off on eBay depending on you family size & garages would adapt you would not need to visit them much if you were getting 700 MPG from like VW say they will get, put T-Stag in the back seat thats gotta be a big plus
DUCKRACER
They made a few of these. I think that or something just like it sold for over 4 million at Barrette-Jackson in 2007 or 2008.
