PREMiERdrum
The tank is definitely full of something... Video of new commercial embedded in Jalopnik post: http://jalopnik.com/5397084/first-my-name-...my-tank-is-full Warning: it's bad.
Pioneer
If that is all they got, I want my taxpayer money back. And that minute I wasted watching it.

rmc523
They took it down, but it certainly can't be as bad as that new Jeep ad.....anyone seen that thing?
twintornados
LOL.....the only thing I can think of is, of course the tank is full.....when it is being towed by an F450 to the dealer bay to have tony fix it again ( ) it gets great mileage...and so does the Ford that is towing it.... rmc523
YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!!!! I just saw the ad on TV - that was the one of the worst things I've ever seen. Fits right up there with the new Jeep ad: I can't find it yet, but their new slogan is "I live. I ride. I am. Jeep." Stupid......and I don't know if the "it's a Jeep thing" excuse can be used for this....
RichardJensen
Sounds like something a 5 year old would come up with. Actually, it sounds more like something you'd teach your three year old to say..... ....when you're potty training him.
Anthony
...there really is no such thing as bad press. One night and it has over ten posts here. Maybe that is the key. Come up with really bad slogans and commercials so people talk about your product. I saw both commercials during the World Series last night. Bad stuff. lfeg
The ad does nothing for me. Bland, bad, uninspired. Looks like they are trying for the image thing. What I did like was the one comment in the Jalopnik article comparing the Ram symbol to certain female anatomical parts - what a hoot! You want people talking about how BAD your product is? Maybe Ford should have released commercials with Explorers rolling over and F-150's catching on fire then? After all, any publicity is good publicity, right? I saw this ad on TV last night. It makes the Ram sound WEAK. If I wasn't a car person, I probably wouldn't even have noticed the voiceover enough to look up from my reading.

FordBuyer
Chrysler's new commercials are as bizarre as Fiat's presentation yesterday at Auburn Hills. It's like they are not a reality based company anymore. Something out of "Mondo Bizarro." Instead of getting rid of Sebring, Avenger, Nitro, Liberty, Compass, Caliber, Commander, Caravan, and so on, they are going to keep them around for a few years at least and ADD to this lineup with just 7% market share and counting. They then talk of having 13% market share in few years as if GM and Ford are just going to give up and give market share back. I don't think so. Ford especially will keep on taking market share from Chrysler for at least another year and perhaps longer.
LM4EVR
I just saw the RAM commercial. They are going to slowly introduce the RAM make (or brand) and phase out Dodge. Just like American Motors did when they went from Rambler to AMC or Nissan when they went from Datsun to Nissan. Lot of good changing names did for either one of them. Dodge has been building truck since the 1920s at least. Now all of a sudden a new name will turn things around. Yup.
goinbroke2
I think i understand wherethey were going, or what they were shooting for...but they missed terribly. It reminded me of a recruiting video or something. "This is what we do, never back down, never blink, we will go where others won't" but in this case it just sucked. Scroll down and see the ram symbal as the female anatomy, I damn near died. THAT is funny! The push test between the ram and chev made me cringe as two new truck "push off". When the driveshaft twisted off the chev I thought "you stupid assholes", but then the laughing and that dumb bitch asking over and over "why are you laughing", I think I would've bunched her in the throat. Ram ad...fail

V8-X
Saw this commerical for the first time on Sunday. All I can say is it was lame, and if this is the best they coiuld do, then the Ram will fall on hard time.
PREMiERdrum
If you thought that the TV version was stupid, catch the radio cut. It's just the voice track from the TV spot, but with no visuals. Doesn't ever even tell you what a "Ram" is. Stupid stupid stupid.
RichardJensen
This is what happen when you wake up one morning, call your ad agency, and say, "we need you to come up with a new ad campaign by four o'clock. We've got a big presentation tomorrow."
