svtenthusiast
Does anyone have pictures or information on these floor mats being offered as an option on Job#2 Fusions? When I got my Fusion back in March, I ordered the accessory floor mats from the ford catalog that had the "Fusion" stitching on them. Needless to say, they were backordered, then months later, Ford said they were looking for a supplier. Now they say avalibility first quarter of 2010. So I may get them after a year of waiting. Anyway, the Ford accessories catalog does not list any carpeted floor mats right now. So are the ones offered on Job#2 fusions the same as what I ordered, and if so, why are they not in the accesssories catalog? Only a guess, but I bet the Premium Floor Mats are the standard mats with the Fusion name sewn in. I bought some for my Freestyle a few years ago. In hind sight I wouldn't spend the money again. They seemed like the same basic mat with a seperate Freestyle patch sewn on. After just over two years the driver's side was already wearing through by the accelerator pedal. svtenthusiast
I hope they wouldn't call them premium floor mats if they were the standard design, but you never know. The standard ones aren't very good.
pcsgrp35se
I have to agree the stock floor mats are not very good. If your in an area where there is no snow or a lot of dirt, they would be fine but that doesn't work for me. I picked up weather tech floor liners (a little expensive) but they are a semi soft tray that covers the entire floor area from the front of the seat way up past he gas peddle and over the foot rest on the left side. I think they are better then the all weather rubber ones and are about the same price. Now all I have to do is find a better mat for the summer time, something a little longer and wider! Yes, the premium floor mats I am talking about are for summer, they are cloth. I did get the optional all weather mats when I ordered my car, I will be using them this winter. I know they aren't as good as weathertech, but I clean my car often so they will work for me.

The standard ones aren't very good. I would venture to guess that the premium floor mats would be the slightly thicker ones with the "Fusion" strip sewn on. It would probably also have the edge wrapped like the ones that would normally be ordered through parts. Just a guess though.

lincolnman
That's what I am looking for. I would like to find a picture of the ones included on the Job#2 orders. I'm Glad someone else is looking for the Premium mats. The supplier that ford uses went of of business. I have ordered two sets to replace the standard mats in my Sport. The quality is much better than the standard. The color is correct. But there is one flaw. "Fusion" is stitched only on the Drivers mat. Doesn't make sense. Looks funny. I ordered a third from Lombardi Ford online and was told when they came in the Fusion was only on one mat. So they sent them back. I have the Black interior and I swear the factory mat is Charcoal. If anyone knows where to get the "FORD" mats with Fusion on both mats let me know. FYI the picture you see on the Ford/Fusion Website showing the mats was done before the supplier when out of business. No one I've talked with knows why only one mat has Fusion on it.
