The Atlantis Green looks Black until the sunlight hits it. Reminds me of stories of how the moonshine runners preferred dark Green to throw off the Revenuers because it looked Black at night and Green the next day.

Now did you go all the way and get the brown seats? LOVE IT by the way.

Eh, doesn't do anything for me, but to each his own. I agree with Mark in saying it looks almost black unless in direct sunlight - it's like Dark Ink Blue in that aspect.

It is a remarkable color. I spotted a Fusion Hybrid in Atlantis Green and I asked the owner if it was black but then quickly retracted by saying "Never mind, it is Atlantis Green." They were impressed. Great color but it is deceiving.

I love that. The color of a forest at midnight.

Absolutely gorgeous car! From the color to the sweet wheels. I soooo very torn right now. I can't possibly afford a properly equipped SHO, but I am not sure if I can wait 5 years until the Fusion is paid off and gives me a decent downpayment.

Chances of picking up a used '10 SHO in 3 years?? Somewhere between 0 and none.

Not yet, I won't be able to afford one till 2013 or so, which should be the last year for the current car, but will have the updates that are supposed to be coming in 2012.

The other thing I like about the car, but is also sorta going against it is that I had a 98 Mustang GT that was nearly in the same color.

It does, but it is dark, and as commented above, would look like black in the night. It is for that reason why I decided not to get my Fusion Hybrid in Atlantis Green and opted for Light Ice Blue. (I probably would have gotten Moss Green if it were still available.)

One of my friends at work is planning to buy an SHO in Steel Blue. He had one on loan from a local dealer for a day or so and was really impressed. He liked the interior and electronics as much or more than the power.

personally i think ALL the SHO colors suck, best looking is the silver which blends with the over the top and un-necessary fog lamp chrome to mention one aspect. NONE of the colors have POP, the tux black looks like regular black covered in dandruff, the green for all intents and purposes comes off as black 99% of the time, Steel Blue????? Chick color, nice but TOO understated, I had hopes for the red, but as a red it sucks too, looks somewhat washed out.....Colors SHOULD have been more distinctive, ditch the Tux and give me a regular Black, a Ferrai red, and PLAIN white are all go too colors, then an Ink Blue, Silver of course, maybe a Midnight Grey for the more conservative...but as it sits, for a flagship, NONE of the colors turn heads....handsome for sure, but personally i am dissapointed

They should use the Molten Orange from the Raptor on the SHO.

I dunno, always looked at the car as a sleeper or understated performance. I rather not have a car that says "look at me!!!" when I'm driving it...guess thats why I have a Spoilerless GT that could pass for a V6 mustang when its moving and you can't see the 18 inch wheels on it.

so would you rather have colors like Molten Orange, Grabber Blue etc?

I like Steel Blue, I don't care what you way about it.

Nope...just more eyecatching....Ford has had some excellent colors over the years, the colors they opted for the SHO are just BLAH...SHO should turn heads.....

Steel Blue looks good on the Flex....should not be on a car deemed a flagship, not exactly a color that shouts excitement IMO....

just saying it needs differentiation...how bout that deep Cheery red mattalic that was on Corvettes for a while? seriously, the colors are AOK for the regular Taurus....but SHO needs a dose of pizazz! Mind you I also think they should have upped the styling ante a tad as well....stealth is ok...just SOMETHING totally unique, anyone can add a spoiler and wheels to ANT car.........hate to sat it....hood vents or front valance ram air, or....just SOMETHING....dont get me wrong, I love the car, but it has a serious case of ho hum....
