Sherminator98
Whats the point? Jill Wanger makes for good eye candy for guys and wears nice shoes that women like....let Mercury bring in women customers.

Versa-Tech
Sorry but I have yet to see a ford commercial with a female face. Maybe I'm too sheltered. How is a spokesperson for Mercury going to bring customers for Ford. They are different markets and don't even share showrooms.
FordBuyer
Keep Mercury for the softer feminine females and Ford can be the division for the "tom boy" harder females. Jill Wagner is doing fine for Mercury and keep that marketing approach going. Mercury just needs more product.
Reigner92
I would like to see two faces for Ford. I would like a female face for the midsize to fullsize cars. Though i think a man should represent the Mustang, compacts(we need to try to do away with the chick car stereotype for small cars), and trucks. Then i think that the Crossovers should be shared by the man and woman.

It had two-tone pink and white paint with all kinds of feminine accessories? A similar vehicle today would probably be considered some form of insult. Versa-Tech
Geez... I was thinking more along the line of Ashley Force, or Melanie Troxel. Now that would sell some Mustangs!

twintornados
Not to sound sexist...but Ford is doing well with "spot spokespersons" for differing vehicles in the Ford line up. I remember an ad from a few years back, the girl was in her Fusion, and she paid for the order of the guy in the Mustang behind her in the drive through lane. ...oh and Jill Wagoner needs to stay with the Mercury campaign....just give her some cars to pitch! Kev-Mo
Ford should do the following - but only if they want to sell more cars to women: 1. Do a better job of marketing to women. I don't know how to execute this, but every woman I know claims that Ford has nothing to offer. It is a moving target, and a huge business challenge, but they have to figure out how to appeal to the female gender. When I ask these ladies; "How did (insert import brand here) market to you in a manner that Ford did not - they cannot answer. But they somehow feel that Ford ignores them. Bottom line is - they are buying cars but not buying Fords. Figure this one out - that is why Farley makes the big bucks. 2. Because everyone who lives in a place that has winter cannot afford a 'Limited', Ford needs to have a 'Winter Package' option for every vehicle regardless of trim level. The package would include: Heated seats, heated steering wheel, heated mirrors, heated washer fluid. And for those about to say it can't be done, heated seats DO work just fine with cloth. Once the first woman in the car pool has a heated steering wheel, then they all have to have them. An optional affordable winter package will go a long way in pleasing the ladies. Mark B. Morrow
Let people figure that one out Richard! Mama from Throw Mama From The Train. I'm pretty sure she's dead. [Momma sees Larry for the first time] Momma: Who the hell is this? Owen: Oh, this is Cousin Paddy. He's coming to stay with us a while. Isn't that nice? Momma: [suspiciously] We don't *have* a "Cousin Paddy". Owen: [to Larry] You lied to me! [Owen knocks Larry out with a frying pan to the head]
V8-X
Well, if I think about my wife, who may just be different from other women. She doesn't listen to auto marketing campaigns. She drives what she sees on the road and likes. She liked the Altima, she got one. Now her eye is on the Flex, with practically no marketing efforts here in the Denver area. Otherwise, she dislikes all other Ford cars. So I say sure, give it a try, but only if she likes your product will my wife buy.
