matsharris
I'm still in my 6-month free Sirius satellite trial and absolutely love the sync travel services it provides, including traffic updates, etc. However, most of the 150 channels that Sirius I will never listen to. In order to retain the traffic information services I'll need to subscribe to Sirius once my trial period expires. Sirius offers an "a la carte" option for certain radios where a customer can select 50 of his/her favorite stations that is cheaper than getting the entire range of 150 channels. Does anyone know if our satellite radios are capable of getting the a la carte service? Thanks.
ber1983
Hello, I have the 09 Escape Limited with Navi, plus i am a current subscriber to Sirius's Everything plan. If you sign up using your VIN number, sirius' website will tell you which plans you can get. It appears I cannot get any of the A La Carte packages, but, it appears everything else is available. The plans I can get are: - SIRIUS EVERYTHING PLUS THE BEST OF XM - SIRIUS EVERYTHING - FAMILY FRIENDLY PLUS THE BEST OF XM - FAMILY FRIENDLY - MOSTLY MUSIC - NEWS, SPORTS & TALK NOT available: - A LA CARTE GOLD - A LA CARTE - A LA CARTE + HOWARD - A LA CARTE + SPORTS - A LA CARTE + HOWARD + SPORTS Hope this Helps! I have a '09 without the Nav and was never able to open an account at the Siriius site using my VIN. I think that it said, VIN was in use or something. I think that it said, VIN was in use or something. While my 6 month trial was active Sirius kept telling me that too. Once the trial expired I was able to use my VIN on the site. I'm guessing they must want you to call in during your trial or something.

rscalzo
The savings of the limited channel package isn't much. I renew for a year.
baggs32
The a la carte plans require equipment capable of handling them and I don't think any auto mfrs OEM equipment can handle them yet. I know Ford's will not accept them and the only equipment I've been able to find that does accept those plans are 1 or 2 of Sirius' own radios. Both are rather pricey IIRC too.
