Couldn't get the link to work, but here's another.

Good improvement. Nothing special, but if you want/need more, guess you'll wait for the 4.4L or 6.2L

For comparison:

'08 Silverado/Sierra 5.3L - 315hp @ 5200rpms & 338lb-ft @ 4400rpms

'08 Silverado/Sierra 6.0L - 367hp @ 5500roms & 375lb-ft @ 4300rpms

'08 Ram 5.7L - 345hp @ 5400rpms & 375lb-ft @ 4000rpms

'09 Ram 5.7L - 380hp & 404 ft.-lb (unsure of rpm levels)

'08 Titan 5.6L - 317hp @ 5200rpms & 385lb-ft @ 3400rpms (think the 5.6L is underated though)

'08 Tundra 5.7L - 381hp @ 5600rpms & 401 lb-ft @ 3600rpms

So the F150 will still be on the low side of the hp figures but will be #3 in lb-ft once the '09 models are released.

Would still like to see what each truck actually puts down to the pavement though.

You forgot the GM 6.2L. So there are 3 competitors with more tq, of which 2 have 6 speeds... And considerably more hp.
